It's just another sign that the only difference between foreign policy might very well be a president that actually talks to people. We can pretty much expect the same disparaged occupation of Middle Eastern nations and unquestionable support of Israel's actions. I don't remember where it was mentioned, but i do believe Israel is more anti-Israel than the US.

They probably should have thought this through when they decided to allow marriages for anything other than procreation. As soon as you can say that you can marry for love and that having kids is not required or demanded, then how can you say that people who want to marry their own sex is wrong when the example has already been set that all you need is love, and that procreation does not matter, which would mean that sex does not matter.

I think the sanctity of marriage issue is dumb. Social unions predate the Bible. There was even Same-sex marriage in Roman times. So basically it is the sanctity of the Bible people are worried about.

Especially in the US, where the divorce rate is about 50%, one of the highest in the World. People really like to delude themselves when comes to marriage. More often than not, it's rather a financial arrangement than a testament of love. Not to mention, we have shows like "who wants to marry a millionaire" and the like. Get over it, marriage is not as sacred as one cares to admit.

I've heard the religious use this argument and others like it before, and it confuses me. It's like none of their ladies never give up their ass, and you know they do. It implies there is a couple lying in bed somewhere going, 'Hey, that was great! But you know what would make it even better? One word. DOG.'
