BTW haven't voted yet.. I'm going after work. Won't be a problem since my landlord's also my polling precinct captain. The sucky thing here in RI is that we have anywhere from 15-33 ballot questions depending on the town you're in. What the fack!

6-8, the polling place had a single line. I got there just before 8, started to get in line...

Everyone I know already voted, and it seemed everyone that I didn't know also did.
Went up to my voting place and was in and out in 5 minutes.

I think the college was a good idea when we had few states... but now it just seems out of place given that some of the smaller states give more electoral votes than others.

States are given electoral votes based on population, not land area. I do agree it needs to be changed, though. I think it is four times that the person winning the popular vote lost the election. Is it really democracy if the person receiving the most votes doesn't win?
