I voted today in VA. Wasn't that long of a process. The 2004 election and the 2000 election took WAY longer in lines compared to this one.

Early exit polls has Obama well in the lead in the popular vote.
Spoiler: show
I voted last week during early voting.
I see a lot of people haave several provisions to vote on. Only thing to vote on in Texas (Dallas County) was to authorize Parkland Hospital to spend up to $747 million in county property taxes, about 60 percent of the total cost, to build a larger, more modern hospital.
If approved by voters, the new, larger hospital will open in 2014 and cost about $52.50 more in annual property taxes for owners of a home valued at $150,000. That represents a 13.7 percent increase in the Dallas County Hospital District's tax rate, which has held steady – at 25.4 cents per $100 assessed value – for the past eight years.
Please don't put any stock in exit polls.

So anyone have their Riot and Looting gear ready in case McCain wins?
Whoooo i feel empowered! Yay for no lines because there are 3 voting places within 3 blocks of each other
i'm going to completely ignore all previous posts and say i'm glad it's election day so all the shitheads that don't know jack about the government and its policies can shut the fuck up for at least another two years until campaigning is "big" again run on sentence fuck
Just voted, in and out in 15 minutes in western WV.
I thought this article made sense for some of my reason behind voting for Obama; http://www.csmonitor.com/2008/1103/p09s02-coop.html
I agree with the majority of his political stances, but the article represents the other reasons I would vote for him.
If more than 50% of his votes come from people who otherwise would not have voted for the democratic candidate, and only did so this election because of Obama's race, then Obama has already won.
Personally, I believe more people are voting for the party they always vote for, regardless of the fact that one happens to be black this time. The most I can see happening is that more people may vote than in previous years, but those new voters were likely liberals anyway.
Voted, me + 1 person in line... god I love not having early classes today.
