In and out in 10 mintues.
*thumbs up*
I drove 200 mi to vote. Goddamned goofy texas laws on voting. 30 seconds to vote down my list.
6 hour line at UCF apparently lol
Took me 20 minutes at my campus
Voted by absentee last Friday.
Black Panthers intimidating voters at polling places. racist bastards make me sick.
Drove from Richardson to Andice which is about 40 mi north of central Austin . The absentee ballots are fucking retarded here. OH HAY, YOU CANT REQUEST ONE IN PERSON, BECAUSE YOU CAN DRIVE 5 MILES TO OUR OFFICE KEKEKEKE. No, you have to mail it in, and if you have defective paper, out goes the vote, or even better yet, they don't even give you prepaid postage, and you might have your vote returned to you because you don't have the correct postage/busted ass envelopes.
In fact, the ballot doesn't even fit in the envelope they give you without folding it at least 4 times, meaning its not going to make it through the machine anyway >_>.
They wouldn't let me hand in my absentee application by hand, because I could still go early vote, so I missed the mail in deadline anyway.
Voted for Obama and Kagen (House rep) about 10 minutes ago in northeast Wisconsin, 477th voter in my district at 4:15pm, in and out in a little under 7 minutes including re-registration to reflect my new address. Actual voting took about 45 seconds, was a paper ballot that you marked with a Sharpie, then fed into a machine that looked suspiciously like a large paper shredder.
Voted. VA.
*its
for shame.
Voted this morning on my way in to work; polls opened 7 am, I was there by 7:15, line was out the door but moved quickly. Then the world conspired against me to make me 10 minutes late to work somehow, even though I still had a half an hour to get there when I left. WTF.
I had my super awesome "I voted today!" sticker though, so no one cared.![]()
Watched this:
http://michellemalkin.com/2008/11/04...-philly-polls/
And it gets funnier and funnier every time I watch it. Like someone is gunna git clubbed for not voting Obama.
Lucky bastard. Not @ the 7 mins part, mine only took like 15 total, but I had to do a provisional ballot because my registration (on the last possible day 15 days ago) wasn't showing up on the voter list.
Wisconsin should be a model for the nation for how to hold elections/registration. Lack of same-day voter registration sucks asshole.
just got done voteing. Huge fucking line was there for 30 damn minutes and the line doubled.
We have same day in Maine as well; I actually thought I would have to, because I really don't recall registering here when I moved back, and I know I didn't fill anything out when I renewed my driver's license. But no, I was registered.
So maybe I'm still registered in MI too. BRB, flying to Grand Rapids, and expecting to be witch hunted by the Reds now.
The first polls will be closing at 6pm EST. Results time!
