Why would I ever strive to make my business better and in turn serve my customers better if there was a limit on how much I could take away from improving myself/business?

While I think there should be a way to tax those who profit wrongfully off other people I'm afraid that any legislation doing so will hurt/inhibit the motivation for people to succeed. I don't think there should a limit on how much people can prosper. As a result I feel like small businesses and entrepreneurship would take a huge hit.
President-elect Barack Obama has proposed increasing the top federal income tax rate from 35 percent to 39.6 percent, where it was under the Clinton administration.

    That is a HUGE hit!

I was more referring to the general theme of the other poster who instead made it sound like there should be a harder wealth redistribution plan instead of a slight increased tax rate. I have no qualms with raising the the tax rates slightly for upper tax brackets. It's when you just start "taking because they have too much" instead of taxing that irks me.

It's like... a super intelligent cross between Mr. Mackey and Mr. Garrison.

With a hint of Mr. Slave.

Edit: He's actually really good so far, only about halfway through.

mmmm he does start to go a little far at like the 11 minute point

hrm ok, finished it up, I didn't like a few things he implied, but overall I definitely think he has a good idea
