No! I just found out about him in High School. The first book I read by him was the Andromeda Strain. Since then I considered him my favorite author. I have yet to read all his books. He was truly a brilliant mind. I can't believe this happened. I didn't even know he had cancer...

I think I have read all of his books. I enjoyed them all with the exception of the Jurassic Park sequels. Those books were damn near unreadable trash. #3 was actually WORSE than the movie.
