I haven't read all of his books, but I enjoyed the ones that I did. State of Fear was the global warming one Koala mentioned and it was really good.

2008 needs to gtfo.

He was my all time favorite author. Hell even his non fiction books kicked ass (see 5 Patients and Travels). One thing I always loved about his books was the way he combined fact and fiction in them. He would actually do research on the subject before actually writing about it.

My bookshelf will never be the same. RIP my friend, you will be missed.

Also, the economy has gone to hell and retail stores around the US are closing (which is killing jobs).

About the only redeeming thing to happen in 2008 is Obama being elected.

I really wish people wouldn't change font colors. A lot of us use different skins (I use the dark one, myself) and that color is very difficult to see. Just thought I'd let you know, that dark blue is a bitch to see on the black skin.

Edit: I think I fixed it, sorry. I'm using the SilverBlue skin and vBulletin doesn't show the code when you go back to edit. I didn't notice a change. I hate font colors as much as the next guy but I usually couldn't care less either way.
