Just did Bhaflau. Pretty normal run for the most part, 2 drops on the 1F rampart were nice, managed to do all 10 gears but decided not enough time for 4F rampart.

We got to LBC with like 10 min left. Plenty of time for a zerg. Put the MNKs on him and they popped all the drinks. I couldn't believe it. After both hundred-fists had finished, Only 10% of LBC's life was off.

We had them pop revitalizers and do it again. Same sort of result. I've never seen this. Ever. 2 HF usually is enough to take off 25-30% of LBC's life. 4 HF should've been over half his life at LEAST. My Freeze IIs were doing less than 800 damage pretty consistently and I was unable to make a dent in his HP.

Needless to say, we lost because it seemed like his HP pool was quadrupled or something.

WTF is this? Has anyone else encountered this? He wasn't damaging much stronger or anything. He wasn't doing any badass TP moves, his attack rates were unchanged, but DAMN his HP just seemed endless. We've never had a problem with weak LBC. He takes like 4 minutes to do. This one would've taken at least 15-20 with the rate his HP% was dropping.

on 4th floor did you went East or West?

if you go west make sure you kill the chariot to lower his DEF, while east chariot is Attk.

We never bothered getting the Archaic Chariot on the 4F. Our group is something like 2 years old now, we've NEVER seen it go down this slowly.

we always go with 8 ppl , can be east or west and we beat him in 8 mins...

if 2 mnks pop 2 hour LBC go down to 70% or 65%

Now maybe your mnks didnt eat the proper food, one time they ate att food and their 2 hours brought lbc down to 80%.....

you saw them use 2 hours but did you actually saw how was their acc????

Some more ideas:

mage forgot to put dia II/III, MNKs didnt have STR or weapons unlocked, one gear warped or aggro'd without you realizing it(i think this is most likely), MNKs used wrong food.

Had no problems with him tonight, killed W Chariot and didn't bother with gears.

Just to say: Did Bhaflau with a shout group today. We did 6/10 gears and W.Chariot and experienced much the same as OP.

There's freak LBCs, yeah. I'm inclined to think that the bosses can spawn at different levels, based on my resist rates as bard. I know that each run has different variables with gear and stats and this is just my general observations... just something to think about.

There is definitely some variation in LBC, whether it be it's level or if there is some changing effect of killing the gears and the Chariot. Results for killing the gears and the chariot are not consistent across runs, even when accounting for the side you go on.

I think there might be a random pattern in effect based upon sides. You can notice this in the drops in lower level mobs. Some runs you may get 100 MP cells and no HP and the next you will get the opposite.

Anyways if its notable at all, it was Wind Weather + Windsday. I know that weather has a large effect on the archaic gear and gears machinery. Does it also affect the bosses I wonder...

Also our MNKs are very top-of-the-line. We've been doing this literally as soon as the update was finished on all our systems that introduced Salvage. Experience isn't the question, nor quality. Something weird happened we've just.... never seen before.

personally we have had some psycho LBCs, even nerfed. IIRC one was wind weather up. It somthing to take a mental note of and if it happens again post again.

We've noticed that on all bosses too, not thinking too much about it since we try to save 15-20 mins on boss incase stuff happens.

But ZR boss comes to my mind after reading this. One day we did nice dmg on him, the next day the dmg is almost halved. We use DRG and MNK as tank, and it's really noticeable with Angon on 50% of the fight. I'll ask the mages next time if weather is up when fighting.

possible that it works like frogs in ZR aka they are weaker on darkday and stronger in lightday

One time on one of our LACs he had a shit load of HP it seemed. Every since that run though we have taken him down quick. It would be nice to know for sure what causes this so we could know what to watch out for.

Was it LBC's HP that was increased, or were your monks just doing less damage per hit? (possible there could be some action that negates the killing of the 4f mini-chariot maybe?)

I've seen this also, though not as bad as Harp described.

When a nerfed LBC seems to go apeshit and just not react as it should do to enfeebles and dmg, even if stats for MNKs are unlocked with STR DEX etc and SV buffs on etc etc.

We never kill the 4F Chariots when we do LBC either.
I think this NM can pop as a higher level version or something aswell.

This also happened to LAC atleast 1 time for us. (last time this happaned the AC was lost lol)
