I got into a wreck today. Was kinda fun. Cept for the while going from 35mph -> 0 part. Good thing I wasn't driving.
I remember gas being like $.70/gallon when I was a very small child.
The majority of my childhood it was in the $1.15-$1.45 range
It's somewhere around $1.80 right now, was $4.10 little over 2 months ago.
I hope it stays around where it is.
.99$ a gallon in like 2000 :O
Christ, where the fuck in FL is it seriously below 2 bucks? Lowest hovering over 2 bucks in town, and seems that TX KY and MO have it good ($1.65ish)according to mapquest.
Lowest I've seen in FL so far is like 2.21
I was happy when I filled up for 2.63 only to see it 20-50 cents cheaper. Found one for 2.19 though, gonna fill up later
Dropped another 10-15 cents over night here, so around $2.20/gallon. That means if I get out of Loudoun and Fairfax Counties, it's probably sub-$2.00/gallon because we have obscene taxes on our gas.
Also, August - December of 1998 I remember paying $0.69/gallon for gas in the town of the college I was going to in PA. It was always amazing to have everyone scrape together like $2 each, and that would be a full tank. After gas going to over $4/gallon, they can keep the prices at $2.20 if they wouldn't hike them back up.
I got it for $1.87 earlier this week, but most places are still around $2.15 or so here. It's been pretty steady around that price. Just depends where you go around the city or if you're in the suburb area.
$2.55 today, but that gas station is usually higher because of its location. Still only cost me $24 to fill my tank. Been dropping about 10 cents per day.
3.50 per gallon here in hawaii.... (super unleaded)
fuck
84 cents a litre in Edmonton, Alberta.
People used to drive off a LOT at the convienience store I work at during the summer when it was 1.44 a litre this summer. Now that prices started dropping since August ended, drive offs have fallen by like 95%.
Chillin what island? I filled up for 2.89 last week (Regular - Oahu)
oahu, the chevron station in kahala.
finally dipped under $2/gal here today, i'm honestly in shock. guessing it's coming close to bottoming out, i can't see paying what i did back when i first started driving ever again (~1.30ish, ca. late '99 early '00 in central MA).
Its $1.82 at the station down the street from me <3
2.17 in Orlando.
Been watching the price of crude the last couple weeks and it seems to have evened off. Increase or decrease of a few cents here or there but it seems to be sticking around $61 a barrel. Don't expect it to drop much more.
$2.35 in North California yesterday.
