Only cake I'll really eat. Not a fan of the traditional cakes.
Just tried this. It doesn't taste bad, but I didn't really enjoy it.
Red velvet cake?
hahaha i know, it doesn't make sense, but I guess it's because the icing isn't your typical i scooped this shit out of a can type thing that makes it better. That and it's always a little more moist.
I know more than 1 person (my dad for example) that will say it's better than a cake made exactly the same without food coloring, and he's the exact same way "I dunno why it just is."
I think it's because his mom would make it and it was a special "treat" because back then they used like 2 full bottles of food coloring lol... super healthy.
Also yeah, the icing generally used for it is a type that doesn't get too gross when you get too much of it, so it's usually slathered on there like meringue, and makes it incredibly rich.

That's right bitches, flan baked on top of/into chocolate cake. I posit that this is one of the best things ever.
It may be a pie

But it's awesome enough to merit 'cake' in it's name.
Nom cheesecake! :9
I need to figure out what kind of pancakes you guys are getting that they are even comparable to cakes and pies.
Not to say that every cake or pie I've had was awesome, but I've never had a breakfast food compare to some of the best desserts that I've had.
There is this restuarant in Port Angeles & Sequim Washington called the Oaknut Cottage & Chestnut Cottage, there breakfasts are better then desserts... Huge waffles w/some sort os sweet batter and anything you could dream of ontop. Banana, blueberry, chocolate chip, w/e type of pancake piled high w/this fresh <insert any type of berry> syrup. I'm not even gonna get into their french-toast... I don't know how they do it, but their breakfasts are amazing w/o being overly sweet or anything, they are just perfect. But the food is all so filling cause it's all the stuff that makes you want to go for a nice long run afterwards >.>
Everytime I go up there always have to eat there at least once for breakfast...
Pancakes with chocolate and peanut butter chips in them are incredible. Don't even need syrup they're that good.
