Just wondering if you pull it at 3:59 (it despawns at 4:00) would its 2 helpers despawn, and you could fight Xol only?

Even if they did, he would just respawn them, that's why you kite the summons for this fight -- he'll just resummon them if you kill them.

this one time i pulled like right before it was going to despawn and I didn't see his helpers at all. I was in the same position you were in and with gaiters I could kite him to the people on the way. Anyways I eventually lost him while out running a blizzaga3. He didn't resummon his adds and I got him past tiamat before losing him though

DOT solo zone kill at boneyard gully

General zoning DOT strategy:
1. Nuke > poison 2 > zone
2. reenter > nuke > bio 2 > zone
3. rezone, watch dot damage(u should be able to tell if both DOT still on) if poison 2 wears off when ur in zone, nuke > poison 2 > zone. if poison 2 wears while ur zoning previously, do not panic and wait for bio 2 wears(you will see this for sure) then repeat step 1 to 3.
4. do not try to DOT 2 together for a rezone solo, chances you hit the shit, and have to zone for long and ended up both DOT wear together and u get a 100% xolotl again.
5. good luck, dont MPK and get NM stolen w. do it at really really dark hours.

i'm pretty sure it would despawn once you zoned after 4:00, wouldn't it?

Not sure if it will or won't if you have DoTs on it. I know for sure it will despawn if you loose hate on it during the day though. I had him despawn once during a pet swap.

Yes. He will despawn if he goes yellow after 4:00, DoTs or no DoTs (at least from my recent experiences).
