A Malicious Manifest Low man Strategy

Does anyone have good low man strat for that BCNM (6-9 people, using manaburn set up). I cant find some information such as, Ele can be slept ? how much HP they have? is the BCNM zone huge? Does the Yagudo has TP regen, and is he immune to Bind/Grav ?

They have 6000 hp each, share hate with Tzee and are immune to sleep. Info on Wiki is wrong, ES sleepga was fully resisted but Bind works, SCH for Bindga is helpfull. Tzee himself seems to have 25k~ hp and can be zerged in 5 min. Have your melees sub /nin to absorb Kamaitachi. He has a slight TP regen but don't spam any WS till 25%.

Tzee resist probably Gravity (I know ES gravity was resisted on Za'dha) but not Shadowbind and it's still possible to kite him with w-legs pld/nin. Of course if the tank takes just one Gravity it's probably impossible to outrun Tzee because of his aura and each Ele can instant cast Tornado II for 1200~ dmg or 600~700 with Aegis, MDB gear etc ... Pull Tzee from the left or right ramp with your blms AM II / -ga III an élé with timer at the start.

Many Blms / a good kiter / Bind are the 3 main things to remember. Our last run was very smooth but I still find it the most hardest of three. Honestly, i don't know if this can be done in low man situation.

I see the last post on this was some time ago, so hopefully this is still helpful for people. Ended up posting it, because couldn't find too much information out on this BC when we first started doing it, so ended up doing a bit of trial and error. How did your groups' run go Demos? Still tweeking our strategies so any input or advise is welcomed ^^

If you are going to low man this (and by low man I mean 10-11 ppl lol) the key thing is to take care of the elementals FAST.
Thanks to the 30 minuted BC timer, the NM's spam of gravitiga as well as the elementals' random alliance hate (the first time our group did this, elementals were going after BLM that had just raised up after death and were resting off in a corner), this BC I think would be very difficult to reliably win with a 6 or less man group.

A manaburn set up of course is the way to go in such a case. As mentioned before in this thread the elementals have about 6k HP each so if you want to kill them in one round of -ga III nukes you will need 7-8 BLM to be safe.

The elementals are wind elementals and as such can't be gravitied or silenced, but can be bound. The NM can't be gravity or bound but can be easily kited even if you dont have +speed.

A decent lowish man set up would be 1 PLD, 1 WHM (whm doesn't leave PLD's side and has finger perpetually on erase macro), 1 SCH, 7-8 BLM.

At the start your BLM can line up for a timed ES -ga III, the NM and Elementals will not agro alliance while standing at the base of the middle ramp within casting range. However, keep in mind that when you start casting, they will agro.

Set up time for ES -ga III, then have SCH do bindga right before they start to cast. NM will also agro at this point so have PLD pull it away
(if he/she has invincible up, have them use it, as the BLM will have generated alot of hate on the first round of nukes, NM will likely still be in range to get hit by some of the -gas).
If you can time it so that NM is enough away from elementals to not get hit by the -gas even better, but dont count on it.

Once the elementals are taken care of the BC is cake. You can chose to either straight tank the NM or kite it while BLM nuke away.

If you choose to straight tank make sure mages are well back as the AoE is very nasty but easily avoidable.
If you choose to kite nuke it is also pretty easy. Again just make sure to not let it get too close to you, because if you get hit by gravitiga and have hate it will eat you. A good way to do the kited strategy is to use the ramps. BLM camp at the bottom of the middle ramp (at ground level), and when NM walks by on the upper path nuke away. BLM with hate then runs towards to front of BC area and up the first ramp and kites around the path. Taking it to the other BLM that have then camped at the bottom (ground floor) of the middle ramp.

Our group got the first Ree's Headgear last night ^^b
Before you ask, our group was 16 ppl, but only 6 BLM.
We had 2 PLD 2 WHM 1 RDM 2 SCH 2 BRD 1 SAM 6 BLM. The elementals did not die to first round of -ga IIIs with 6 BLM so we had to pick off the elementals, to kill in one round would likely take 7-8 (leaning to 8 to be safe in case of resists etc). The only thing making this BC hard is the elemental pets really, so if you can deal with them in one round you dont need much else.

Just for clarity, magic aggro range is actually a step or two within maximum casting range. You can begin casting on anything that aggros to magic and have it not notice.

    Thanks Tsuko!

We'll try to adjust position next run we do.

Though not sure it's possible to get far enough back and still be in sight to cast. The middle platform (the top platform being were the NM and pets sit)all sits in magic agro range, the only way may be to start casting from the ramp going up to the middle platform, but as that sit at a lower level not sure if we will get the "can't see XXX from here yadda yadda.." msg.

Were you able to get on a position that let you cast and be out of magic agro range in this field?

Pretty sure magic aggro range is distance 20 while casting range is (depending on size of mob) ~21.2 to 22.

    Yes, i think we all know by now that magic agro range is shorter than casting range, that is not the issue lol;

The issue is the layout of the BC with 3 tiers of levels with the NM and pets being at the top tier. We have not had a chance to redo this BC (we did only a couple of this BC, and have moved on to La Vaule (sp) for a bit) to see if it is possible due to the BC terrain to get back far enough to be outside magic agro range yet still be able to "see" the mobs to cast.

The middle platform however does all sit in magic agro range. So until someone can confirm that it is possible in this BC's terrain to be able to be out of magic agro range and still "see" the mobs to cast, a group should (to be safe) plan for the contingency that it is not possible.
