I was playing XI earlier this morning, in fact only a few hours ago. Thanks to a buddy of mine, I'm walkin around in spiffy AF1 body for SMN, however my house's wireless signal can get a little weak when i'm in the kitchen cleaning, so I noticed that my wireless signal actually dropped and I lost connection. Oh well, that sucks, I'll die and it'll be worth it to get out of the temple.
However.
Ever since that drop, I cannot connect to any wireless networks. Walked closer to where I should be able to connect and where I play every day. Goes through the connection process and either doesn't connect, or says that it finishes connecting and the windows prompt tells me that it's Not connected.
Installed my own router to avoid that one since it could be a router issue, but no dice connecting to it either. If I restart the computer, or log off/log in, it says i'm connected, but no IP address, no Gateway information, no nothing.
If I type ipconfig /all, I get that my internal bluetooth is disconnected, and that the bridge can get an IP address if I leave it on. But with it on, still no dice. If i disable one or either of them, my wireless and my local don't display. ipconfig /all tells me absolutely nothing, just Windows IP Configuration.
I can't figure it out. All drivers under Device Manager are green for go, no errors no yellow. I assumed that since I simply dropped the connection, it was a problem with the router but even plugging in a new one that I know works, and switching to it, nothing. The only thing I have left to try is to reboot the actual modem, but my brother is an ass and likes to complain for any single second he cannot get internet, so I figured I'd turn to BG for any advice before I pop his melon head ego.
