It's not his insufferable moralizing that's at issue here. What's at issue here is Humane Lancelot here prancing in on his white fucking horse pretending like the random image thread on BG is the appropriate venue for his holier than thou bullshit. And though his conviction seems demonstrably sincere, the fact that he seems so appalled that the internet is, in fact, a base and banal place is ludicrous. Given his post count he should know that BG is a playground for the morally reprehensible, the obscene, and the tasteless. He's striking out at a noxious immorality that is more ambivalent to his altruistic wanking than his self importance could apparently ever imagine. Congratulations on having a heart that bleeds virginal white sir, this is an image thread and is not your soapbox.

Because his getting up on a soapbox is any more annoying than this or anyone else's complaining about his opinion? It's his view, and both sides are valid on the insanity of the Internetz. You're on just as much of a soapbox as he is. (And so am I apparently; it's a vicious cycle. Let's not perpetuate it further!)
