Random Image Thread XVI: NO MOAR SPIDERS

being an arachnophobic person, the only thing i can say to defend the decision is that i never once feel uncomfortable sitting in my chair when i look at any of those others things. no matter how gross something is to look at, it doesnt have the same effect of looking at a spider. i literally get chills when looking at some of these spiders. if you can look at those pics without getting shivers, god bless ya. the reason i think sono said that is for the people who do have minor panic attacks when they see them.

Can't you just scroll really fast? I don't understand the problem here. Yeah, the same spider pictures get continually reposted, but it's only because people who whine about them keep looking at them and getting freaked the fuck out. You should be able to see "OH HEY THAT'S A SPIDER" from the first 1/10th of the image, there's no reason for you to stare at it long enough to have a fucking panic attack and fall over dying, when you can just scroll.

I just think it's a stupid standard that something is totally out of bounds. I can accept NMS images, but spiders? Come the fuck on

i think you misunderstood. i haven't complained or asked that spiders be spoilered. i do just scroll through them. im not bitching about it, im well aware of the consequences for reading these threads. all i was saying is i can see why other people would talk to the mods about it or complain

I'd like to see how this turns out when somebody just posted an un spoiled picture of a spider on a page debating the new set rule. Strange thing is, those spiders don't even seem scary at all. I'd be more freaked over a daddy long leg then a tarantula.
Anyway, kids are different in every aspect of life. They don't know better with a lot of shit. Many people are scared of spiders because they know how deadly some can be. Kids eat em for the hell of it because they haven't experienced how scary shit in this world can be.

Gives me enough reason to stay awake and see.

I think i've seen just about everything the net has to offer from cute bunny pics, to war torture pics, to amputee midget orgy porn with animals and i've really never even browsed 4chan.

Of course if it 'actually" happened to me, like some 1 foot long spider got on me or comming at me I'd freakout or snake or watched someones body parts fly across my windshield... but if its just a pic/video on the net... not really ;/
