The scientist thing quoted a few posts above doesn't say to me "There go those men, stealing from women!", more like "There go those greedy SOBs who want the fame, and willing to steal from whoever", it just happened to be a woman
If you go through a lot of scientific discovery, you'll find numerous instances of people saying their work was stolen. That being said, historically speaking it's only relatively recent that women have had such things to be stolen in the first place, since women's rights have progressed enormously in the past 100 years alone.
