It bothers me when ppl are in the fast lane of traffic and go 70-75 mph... go into another damn lane and drive the speed limit... don't do it in my fast lane when none are in front of you. And its worse when you try to flash your lights to get them to go over to the other lane and they just ignore you... causing "you" to need to pull out of the lane and go around them... well, you and the five cars behind you all waiting for the asshole to speed up or switch lanes

I've never personally seen a speed limit sign over 65 mph, ever. Am I misunderstanding this rant, or is the speed limit awesomely faster where you live?

Dunno, in CA I've never ever gotten a ticket (or heard of others getting a ticket) if your going 75 mph or under. There is like a 3-5mph margin of error they have to account for on their radar. so if you get tagged at 75mph they count it as like 70-71 and I've never seen ppl ticket for that unless a cop is a pre jerk.

I like to speed & generally drive at 80 mph on the freeway. and it just bugs me when there is no traffic, yet the person in the fast lane is going slower then everyone else, causing everyone to have to go around. These drivers are typically old ppl and <won't go there>

It pisses me off when people speed unnecessarily and get all butt hurt about others going at their own pace, the speed limit non the less. I wish people who were speeding and tailgating would realize the extra 5 to 10 miles per hour they want to go only saves them about 7 minutes of time. Is it really worth 7 minutes to weave in and out of traffic and potentially cause a car accident?

This is exacerbated at night when the same yahoo forgets to turn off their brights on the freeway. Stop blinding me you asshole!

I don't tailgate!! Maybe i should of been more clear! Yes, I speed... Yes, I shouldn't.. I don't speed stupidly when there is traffic nor do i weave in and out of cars. But when there is no buildup, and your in the fast lane.. and everyone around you is going about 80~ and somebody in the fast lane is going the "actual" speed limit... yes, it pisses me off. If you want to go the speed limit when everyone else (even the cops) are passing you, then go into another fuckin lane... that's what the lane next to the exit lane is for. When your going slower then the flow of traffic and in the fast lane, ppl shouldn't need to go around you.

And ppl are only supposed to flash their brights twice, they arent supposed to keep em on!

And this is just something that aggrivates me, I remember there was athread about speeders a while ago on BG and it caused a lot of bitching back anf fourth between fast and normal speed drivers lol. But I doubt your one of those drivers I just explained, cause most ppl who decide to go the speed limit when the flow is moving faster - do not drive in the fast lane

Quite frankly, I think for most people, there is almost absolutely no reason to have your brights on ever unless you are trying to signal someone. All it does is either increase glare in bad weather, or blind the other drivers.

It fucking drives me insane when I'm comming around a turn on a brightly lit road and some fuck has his brights on comming the other way, and turns them off WAY too late to prevent my night vision from going to shit. t(-_-)t

I love botching a failed cut off attempt. Biggest douchebag thing to do. Or speed up when they're about to pass you as the road merges into one lane. Or going slow until the light is about to turn red then speed off with your windows down laughing maniacally as you make a left turn.

Edit: On some roads where I live, you need the brights to see more than 3 feet ahead of you sometimes but I turn them off when I see another car since I know how annoying it is.

This shit happens so much to me in my area, I went and bought a hand held mirror to leave in my backseat, and flash it back at them. Works every time, once I get the angle right, they turn em off. Most likely not legal, but fuck em

I totally agree with this I can tell when it is about to happen to and it pisses me off so much when someone comes up behind me fast and then does the diagonal lane change right in front of me without any signal. If you change lanes fast enough where your car is no longer parallel with the lanes then you are a douche ass fucktard. I hate it when people weave in and out of traffic. Fuck them.

@Katlan yeah I typically drive about 5 mph over the speed limit max and I try to stay out of the fast lane. So I understand your rant. I just usually notice speeders and lane weaving go hand in hand in most cases and that pisses me off.
