Dunno, in CA I've never ever gotten a ticket (or heard of others getting a ticket) if your going 75 mph or under. There is like a 3-5mph margin of error they have to account for on their radar. so if you get tagged at 75mph they count it as like 70-71 and I've never seen ppl ticket for that unless a cop is a pre jerk.

I like to speed & generally drive at 80 mph on the freeway. and it just bugs me when there is no traffic, yet the person in the fast lane is going slower then everyone else, causing everyone to have to go around. These drivers are typically old ppl and <won't go there>

Bad misconception..... Radar guns are a estimate and your theory is true on the 3-5 MPH range. However most state angencies are switching to "Lidar" which is near deadly accurate, and can be operated from inside the cruiser....with the window fully up (incase you ever see a trooper just "sitting" there) and the 3-5 MPH window for a estimate is not there anymore.

I know CA Highway patrol use them, don't know if they only use that device or not.

The 90MPH being unsafe is assuming either one's car can't handle, one can't handle their own car, or the road isn't suited for that kind of speed (side roads most likely). Depending on the flow of traffic I drive from 70 (5 over) to 85, usually only doing 70 if I'm the only one around.

Also, I never use my high beams unless absolutely necessary. I can't stand it when I'm coming home from school and I'm on the back roads, and a truck whose lights are even with my face has the highs on. Plus those blue lights from earlier, fuck those. I want some just to piss off the people that have them.

As an owner of the blue lights, I can say they're amazing for night driving (which is important for me because I live on the edge of my city so there are a lot of unfinished roads, signs everywhere, and random animals on unlit streets). Sorry!

Make a fucking image macro if you need to add text. And yes, I know the majority of what I post is off /v/, but I try to sort and categorize it away from memes.
