Purchasing new video card

So I've been playing WoW with a ASUS Extreme AX300SE/T for the last while, but am looking for an upgraded video card. Any advice on what would be compatible for good boost to performance would be greatly appreciated. I've been able to run things at highest settings with little lag, but with a recent boost in certain effects I'd like to be able to play with those settings turned on as well.

What's the rest of your system like? No offense, but, your current GPU is a piece of shit, lower performance than my Ti4400 from 6.5 years ago or so. You don't need to spend $200-300 to completely blow it away.

I mean, if you -want- to spend $300, then the card linked to above would be a fine choice. However, you could just as readily get an HD4830, 4850, or 512MB 4870 for less...or a 9800GT/GTX/GTX+ and still see massive gains compared to what you have now.
If all you're really playing is WoW, I'm not sure you'd see the difference between a $130 card and a $300 card either.

Lowest 4850 I saw was $149 that wasn't open-box, so I just went with the 4830, which will still run WoW all maxed out.

That's got 640SP compared to the 800SP of the HD4850/70 I believe. Still a great card, worth the cash.
