Dvergr is easy as fuck Q.Q.
Have 1-2 people pull him away and zerg the pets down. They sleep easy enough. It may seem a bit hectic, but there isnt really much danger with him unless your sleepers are just retarded.

Dvergr is really easy, I always pray for him as the boss.
We even wiped on him once when the PLD didn't know to only Flash the actual Boss (PLD usually pulls for us and it was my fault, I didn't mention how to handle Dvergr to him), and we had time to recover and still clear the area with a little time left. (Not much, but still, a full wipe + recover takes time)
Do what Neo said, just adding that whoever is kiting the boss around should make sure to not outpace him enough to draw-in.
I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that his draw-in triggers a TP move that wakes up all of the pets, which can be problematic and annoying for your sleepers.
Whats the range where Dvergr does Draw In? I remember when I tried to pull Dvergr with a ranged attack it drew me in (~25.0). I understand the general idea that you kite Dvergr away from his Demons but so far we haven't gotten the initial pull down yet. Mind you, we've only had him twice and the very first time our puller thought it was a normal Demon wave, so yeah.
I just checked a couple vids on the fight and from what I could gather theres no real clean way to pull him to "camp". You just pretty much have everyone run a second behind the puller and spam sleepga + pray that Dvergr follows the puller and doesn't warp/run back to the alliance all the time. How much support do you give the puller/holder normally? We usually have our puller in a seperate party incl a couple of BLU for lightbased sleeps and usually 1 healer (RDM or WHM), sometimes 2.
having Dvergr as boss is a blessing
his 12 demons are considered as "2 waves" of mobs (1 demon is 80 ichor, i tried and tested way back when we had a random farming run like 18 people, killed 8 and time out, got like 1600 ichors(8x80 + 960). all 12 is exactly 960)
this means that you will only get 2 waves of mobs before him, and should really have more than 15 mins for him
meeting him is much much much better than 12 ahriman + 12 flayers + 6 super dragons + behe boss
Haven't gotten dvergr in months (and I mean months now, last time I fought it was before the salvage bans), but what we did for initial pull that worked well was we sent a feather mule in right into the pack of demons, once they aggroed and started beating on him I tagged the Dvergr and a BLM sleepga 2ed the demons and everyone went to town.
I want to start doing BRD rotations. What is the most efficient way for an alliance to keep constant BRD rotation for the whole run? I'm thinking it's best to have regular rotation as if doing SV rotation. One BRD will call out time to start songs. After full rotation, BRDs drop and go back to original PTs. Repeat. Any better method of doing this?
My group has settled for giving the bards the responsability to get invited. A bard has 3 macros, 1: /join, 2: /pcmd leave; /tell PT1 invite me, 3: /pcmd leave; /tell PT2 invite me. The PT leaders have 1 macro with 1: /pcmd add < r >. When a bard isn't in a party he just does his usualy tasks of crowd control and support healing (and spamming his invite me macro). We only rotate minuetx2+marchx2, madrigal usually isn't required when you also have a THF for feint.
For Dvergr, we have our THF tag Perfect Dodge and run into the Demons, aggroing them and bringing them to the entrance area for Sleepgas.
When the boss runs by, the PLD grabs it and kites it around the opposite side of the room.
I'm not sure of the exact Draw-In distance, I'm always WAR calling Einherjar, I'll ask the PLD who handles him tonight exactly how he kites him to avoid Draw-In and post his information.
The biggest point about the Dverger (According to LS Ldr PLD) is that he keeps hate on whoever performed an action last to him that has not been attacked.
i hate vampire boss the most, even tho we only have him once in 1 year......
that 1 time he was mad annoying and all over the place when he splits lol
we seldom have CS stuns >_<
