Ya, this isan't rocket science. As a COR, you cater to the exp chain only. if your using 2 melee rolls and killing so fast that the brd has nothing to pull, the exp chain will break. In this situation, i make the switch to using melee roll/COR roll. Tell your pt they are killing too fast and you are switching to COR roll. It gives the melees an ego boost to thier epeen.

I would avoid arguing with pt members about what rolls to use when you are absolutly sure that you are right and they are clueless. Just ignore them if they persist too much and hopefully they will let it go.

Assuming you aren't clearing the mobs in the area (say at lower levels, etc), does another roll (such as Fighter's Roll in this case, or even Sam roll) outweigh Cor?

I'd say if you are having trouble keeping the chain going because of kill speed, use another roll. Chain 5+ xp bonus is 50%, which definitely beats the 15% from COR roll. If you're chaining fine, use COR roll.

but if you're stubborn and enjoy slow XP, go with a melee buff roll if it's the difference between keeping a chain or not. otherwise, stick wtih cor roll.

I think this was generally more if you likely can't chain 5+, or are highly unlikely too (my cor is 63 atm).

If a meripo can't chain 5+, not worth your time.
