they did the same for when they announced Chrono Cross for the DS, so I'm hoping it's another remake and not an FFXI expansion.

I kind of hope it's an FFXI expansion so they can just finish the story line of WoTG and actually make an expansion worth doing, last one I feel that was even worth doing was CoP.

But I am kind of conflicted.

See this thread has a really shitty title. The game's name is Blood of Bahamut probably best to go with that as a title. It also probably has nothing to do with Rapture(SE's new MMO). I guess it COULD be what with Rapture probably being nothing more than a code name. But then you have to consider the art design of Rapture has already been shown and is unlikely to suddenly change that drastically.

But the thread in general has "Speculation" within the title. Any thread themed on speculation is a bad thread. And people there actually... honestly... sincerely believe it can or will be a FFXI expansion.

It's not to early to be honest for them to be announcing a new expansion. From what people are saying, WoTG only has about 3 more big updates before it's basically done. It's also been what 10 months since wotg was released? Who knows, we'll find out when the timer is done! The japanese fanfest is like 5 days after the timer is done also I think
