I've never seen the Arise and black RDM spells, everything else is Olde.
Eh, the NIN Ja is new to me, and the Whm thingy looks neat. RDM enspell 2 are older however, I've had a lousy fencers ring rotting in my MH for months now just in case
And who really cares if some of it is old. Until there's new news from SE or Kirschy discovers a way to get 2% more haste, there's almost no reason to read ffxi forums as far as I care. It's at least browse worthy.
So, what is the new DRK ability? Also, what makes you think it's specifically for DRK?
If you check carefully I said: "possible" new drk ability.(verification needed). Why I think it's maybe DRK, is because I know how to say/spell DRK in japanese: Annkoku
and the program I use tell you the name of the files. And most of the times, SE put the name of the files with the name of the job that is going to get. However sometimes they use abbreviation. For the NINJA ability, the WHM spell and the RDMspells, it was clear.
However some are made with abbreviation. For examplethe blue mage abilities, instead of writting "blue mage", wich is "aomadoushi" in japanese, they will write just "ao".
For the DRK, I need more verification, as the abbreviation they put can be applied to some other jobs.
For example if they put this abbreviation: KR, there are 2 possibilties, it can be a BLM or RNG ability/spell. Because BLM in japanese is: KUROmadoushi, and RNG is: KARIudo. So the KR abbreviation can be applied to them.
As for the person that said arise is old, no it is not, as it has been added in the FFXI files in september.

Yep, I'm coming on that soon. The thing I'll put are thing that has been added at the last patch(september), like you said Ophannus. However for the enspells tier II has been added in june. But I had to put them in this video, just to match them with the last RDM spell at the end, wich was recently added. Thats the only reason I added the enspells in this video.
But yes Ophannus I'm working on DRG breath aswell, I'll come with that soon.

Only thing I'm mad at is the OPs constant reminder that he can "speak Japanese" I think a few of us can, or are in the process of learning, so it's annoying him say again and again.
Apart from that, the NIN JA looks awesome, and it's something similar to what I dreamed of seeing on NIN time and time again, what with the swirling of leaves anime-style. As for Arise, having "Full-Life" in game would be awesome in certain obvious HNM fights where a tank's death is close to, or unavoidable.
I'm actually looking forward to whatever else this guy can find that hasn't been discussed. Especially any new info one can gleam JA for DRG, then BLM and PUP. Not like there's anything really cool to discuss until/after Fanfest anyways.
It doesn't matter what unused animations Square puts into the game since they are not being used. There are plenty of very old animations that have yet to be implemented. (Tier 2 bar spells, reflect, toad, libra, confuse, aspir II, tier V elemental ga-spells.) Some very old animations have made it into the game as player spells (Phalanx II, Drain II, Protectra V, Shellra V), and other as monster spells. (Break, Breakga, Protect V, Shell V, Stone IV.)
The long and the short is, these animations only matter when they are implemented as player or monster animations. Yeah, I want some tier II en-spell actions, but until they actually let me cast them, they are going to be yet another cruel reminder than Square hates me.
