    Yeah, DaVinci Code should've been called "Angels and Demons II"

    Did I see me some Ewan McGregor in there? Any idea who he is playing?
    Forgive me, I haven't looked up much on the movie, simply because I know I'm going to see it when it hits theatres.

    Looks like hes playing Carlo Ventresca (assistant to the pope), i can tell you also that Stellan Skarsgård (Bootstrap Bill from pirates of the carribean) plays Kohler (Renamed to Richter for the movie for unknown reasons) and a guy named Nikolaj Lie Kaas plays the Hassassin.

    Good promo to this movie also:

    The two aren't related plot-wise at all, they just share the same main character and world. It's been a while since I read the Da Vinci Code, but I don't even remember passing references to the events in Angels & Demons, so it's possible that they're intended to be more parallel universes than prequel/sequel in the traditional sense.
    They do make passing references to Angels and Demons in the Da Vinci code (Vittoria Vetra is mentioned near the beginning, Langdon also worries later on about people recognizing him from the news broadcasts that occurred in Angels and Demons).

    I did over simplify, but those were not the only similarities.
    Wanna know a secret? They were written by the same author too.
    Dan Brown's novels all fall a similar structure. They're all suspense/thriller novels involving some sort of conspiracy.

    That's not a secret silly, it's right on the cover.

    Just because an author writes two novels doesn't mean he has to recycle the same plot outline for both.

    You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

    I hated reading the davinci code. :/ his writing was too simplistic and too hollywood sounding for my tastes ><;

    I'll probably go see the movie though. <3 my Ewan
