Check out some of the amazing creations this guy has made with LEGO. Most if not all the work is based on characters from video games. My fav is his BLM. One of his early works

Nice idea!

For obvious reasons, anything that's rendered in the old school sprite style will lend itself well to lego designs. Same goes for anything (craft, whatever) that uses 'blocks' of colour.

Example: A cross-stitch I made for a friend's birthday gift.

It's really damn easy, as you'd imagine. Just a 'paint by numbers' sort of activity. Pixel art, sprites, etc. lends themself to all sorts of shit.

I'd never considered the lego approach - that's ingenious.
