Off topic, but on the subject of plate, every worthwhile piece 40-41 is so ridiculously overpriced, I'm wondering if I should take a break from levelling and get smithing up

Mail will suffice til about 58ish, then outland green plate is pretty useful, but the few blue pieces that drop in instances might be a worthwhile get.

on the topic of paladin, just dinged 71 on pally and im finding the grind on prot to be a real slow grind, while the easy instance partys are nice, most of them are lets say less than worthwhile, would it be a better choice to just respec to ret and grind to 80 that way while picking up tank pieces on the way or stick it out with prot?

honestly, any DK spec will basically end up needing to rest about never, except maybe after an elite if you're not blood.

You're grinding wrong. Pull more mobs. Always more pull mobs, more more and more. If the quest is kill one guy, PULL THE CLOSEST TWENTY TO HIM. I didn't actually do that...well at least not more than a few times, but you get my point. You should never be fighting less than 3 mobs, ever. But still quest like crazy. It's all a matter of organizing quests to do all the ones in a specific area and then pulling them so you can quickly dispatch all of them in a timely manner, which is all at once. Only really slow quests are when mobs are super spread out (Coldarra is a good example of this) or heavy in the casters with nothing to LOS around. But most mobs you can work around and fight all at once. Once you get to New hearthglen prot should prove to be nice.

Oh and ding 80 priest. 2nd 80. Not sure what is wrong with me, I'm surprised I grinded my paladin so fast to 80 and here I am with two...wtf.
