Graphics glitch that freezes PoL (screenshots included)

So about a week ago this weird graphics glitch appeared on my screen that screwed up the linkshell image next to peoples name (it isn't random, its always the same of about 6 strange images). It will also not only show distorted images, but if it shows the normal round image, it will be grey on everybody, regardless of what color the linkshell is, or it will wrongly display a bazaar icon without the player having a bazaar.

In addition to this a blue bar will flash on the screen in very rapid bursts, it never stays for long (to capture it in a SS i needed to take 6+ before i actually cought it).

And lastly, noticed for the first time this night, my Name above my head would start flash over to the side of me (as if someone was standing next to me, it would be above them) and always to the right (this one only happened to my name). Also other peoples names would randomly disappear (as if /names were turned on) and reappear (including my own sometimes).

Now the biggest problem with all of this is every time i target someone with this glitch active (including myself) PoL will instantly freeze. So if i cast a spell via macro with no target, or if a mage in my party casts a spell on me when i have no target, I will instantly DC.

This glitch will only appear in certain zones! So far the zones I have noticed it in are: Sanctuary of Zitah, Eastern Altepa Desert, and Qufim Island.

And the final thing I can think of to note would be that the icons for Reprisal and Level Sync on the top of the screen appear as a BCNM icon and when targeted, say DEBUGGED (displayed in final screenshot). I do use Brandson's UI mods so I'm pretty sure this has to do with that. A few days before I noticed all this happening I did download a newer version of it. Reprisal has so far gave me no problems, but when Level Sync was activated, it seemed the blue bar that flashes on the screen went haywire. (This is true for all zones, unlike the blue bar and name glitches)

I tried replacing the new version with the one I was using before that I still had on my desktop but changed nothing.

I'm going to try to put all the backups back in their place and try replacing them again to see if that fixes anything/everything, but right now my friend who has the backups is offline.

I ran a file check about 3 days before this all started to appear, I wasn't thinking about how I had modded files, I thought maybe some of the problems came from the clash of PoL being confused of those files and trying to replace them, but I don't see how that can cause all these problems.

(forgot to mention earlier, I tried running FFXI without windower, and all problems still showed)

OK! sorry for taking so long with that, I'm trying to be as descriptive as I can so everyone can be as helpful as they can. Any help is very much appreciated and thank you in advanced.

It's related to Brandon's mods. You should not be using them. They are very outdated and another person took up his work.
