ITS ON WEDNESDAY?! Fuck yes. Now I don't have to choose between this and Supernatural like last season.

I really hope Juliet and everyone will be ok.. but in Season 4 people have been randomly dying when I don't think it's going to happen, so at this point it's all up in the air.

Juliet needs more mysterious screentime. So we can keep deciding if she's good or bad. Right now I feel she's "Good" but she needs ben to lure her back to the other side.

Then again, let's see what gifts the island shall give us.

I had a theory that Christian (or who/whatever the hell he is) might have set Locke up to convince Ben to move the island and now it has worked to his advantage. It's been shot ever since I seen a guy in a hazard suit. In the flash forward Ben makes it clear that Charles Widmore does not have the island and neither does Ben.

Great now I am thinking like this again. LOST has this effect on me.

I'm predicting Ben's gonna orchestrate Juliet getting off the island so he can have her again -- So she'll be happy for a moment, then come crashing down into depression at the realization of how manipulative Ben still is.

Rather than bumping the old thread, anyone else get their test results today? I also found it funny how they said they sold Dharma to the creators of LOST.

Yep, I found that odd/interesting as well. I'm looking forward to the follow-up email though.

My test result was a 54 average with Teacher job or whatever the certificate said.

Email for those who didn't sign up:

    Spoiler: show
    Namaste.

I am pleased to announce that registered recruits can now log in and download your personalized Volunteer Assessment Dossier outlining your full test results as well as your position within the Dharma Initiative.

I want to personally congratulate you on behalf of everyone at the Dharma Initiative for your hard work and diligence during our testing process.

We hope that you are happy with your results. We certainly are. The tests were extremely challenging and the aptitude and excellence displayed far exceeded our expectations.

Now that you are in possession of your results I am sure you are asking the obvious question: what's next?

Our plan was that together we would commence a glorious adventure: the revival of the Dharma Initiative using the myriad talents of all our amazing new recruits. We imagined not just fulfilling long abandoned goals but taking the Dharma Initiative to a new level of greatness as an organization promoting the peaceful social and technological advancement of all humankind.

    Then the financial crisis struck.

Sadly, our benefactors were not immune to this crisis. In fact, unconfirmed reports suggest that much of the money designated for the work of the new Dharma Initiative was tied up in highly leveraged mortgage derivatives. This, however, cannot be confirmed because, I am sorry to report, the principals representing the benefactors - my employers - have gone missing. Based on bills still coming into our office we believe they are somewhere in South America.

This stunning reversal of fortune has forced us to abandon our ambitious plans. In fact, absent this funding, the Dharma Initiative was forced to make the only sensible decision we had available: we sold the Dharma Initiative to the television show LOST.

While this might strike some of you as a shock, the reason for this was not simply that they were the only bidder. As the only remaining Dharma Initiative employee who had not fled the country, I felt that at the very least the show would be able to keep the spirit of the Dharma Initiative alive and in the public consciousness until such time as a reversal of the reversal of our economic fortunes occurs.

It is with a heavy heart that I must bid you farewell. Despite my fervent commitment to the mission of the Dharma Initiative, the realities of a broken marriage, heavy casino debt and some unfounded police charges have required that I change my present circumstances. It is with great excitement that I can inform you of my pending senior sales management job at a large multi-brand auto dealership in Dubai. I have enjoyed our brief association more than I can ever express, and if you are ever in the Middle East and need a car, please e-mail me for a special "Dharma rate".

In the meantime, you will hear shortly from LOST showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. They will explain to you their future plans for the Dharma Initiative and how these plans might affect you.

Thank you again, personally, for your unflagging commitment and support. I hope our paths will one day cross again. In the meantime may the spirit of the island guide you.

    Namaste.

I wonder if anyone will try to get the "Dharma rate."

I got Cinematographer as a job. Can't get to my average score, stupid slow work computer.

I guess now it will be interesting to see what direction each of these "jobs" take, different games/tests whatever.

    Very interesting.

I didn't get any emails of test results and the website is just a white light for me so I can't log in to see. =(

I got Psychologist too... pretty cool I guess.

Also, just to touch base on what Wafik said... I'm eager to see a decent Juliet episode. The last Juliet episode was mediocre and the only thing that redeemed it were her juggs.

    New sneak peek posted!

The thing I am confused about is.. will the show even have Flash Forwards anymore? I mean we caught up with them escaping so what is going to happen!? I am guessing the premiere ep is Kate centric.

I think it will depend on the character the episode is focused on, so like if its Farraday or Charlotte or Miles or Rosseau/island person it will be flashback otherwise who knows really? I remember DL and CC saying this season and probably next will be pretty helter skelter with when they are in the timeline with most episodes being something like The Constant but with future shit added in too so lets see what happens.

Yeah, sounds cliche, but time is going to have no connection anymore. It's going to be solely character driven, which is what I think the writers/creators had in mind from the pilot.
They will jump forward, back, further back, and further forward depending on the characters that the episode centers on.

Honestly, whatever they do with time travel I am highly confident they will pull it off and keep it intriguing and suspenseful based on how each season builds on the last vs what Heroes does.

Pretty sure they can pull it. They already defined 2 concept that fix virtually every problems caused by time travel.

First one is "destiny/fate". Even if you alter the past/future, the universe is going to fix things and force everything back to normal. If they somehow create different time line, it won't change anything over a long period of time (we saw it with Desmond, Charlies and it was said in interview). There is only one future and one past.

The second is a soul (or mind) that works beyond time and space. The characters will remember his "other self" through flashback and visions. There is no major disconuity with this, and everything will always flow smoothly until the end of the show.

The ending could create some problems (assuming the cast find a way to go around destiny), but considering they were careful with everything else, they will probably do it right.

    Oh god not this again.

Time flow on the show =/= time flow IRL. In the show they've been lost for a whopping 100~ days, and finally have gotten discovered. This is little over 3 months. They are still in the year 2004 on the show.

Gtfo if you have nothing to contribute.
