I don't understand why everyone thinks Nog is that old. He's 32. That's one year older than Brock. If Brock can get past Nog, then there's absolutely no excuses to be made other than he beat him fairly. Nog has faced competition as heavy as Brock before, and beat them. Though I seriously doubt Brock will beat Nog.

... Imagine Brock being the first person to ever stop Big Nog.

Nog's not old mentally but his body has been wrecked. He's half blind and he looks a lot slower than his days in Pride.

Is this the second time you have thought a fight was fixed, I remember someone else mentioning it a while back. The answer is no, there is no way in hell the UFC risks losing their company to fix a fight. They already make a ton of money so there is no reason to do it.

Maybe the punch pinched a nerve in his neck or something that made him go down, because the impact wasn't nearly strong enough. The ground and pound that followed after was enough for a stoppage though.

It's not like that first punch knocked him out - it just stunned him for a second. Remember that there's a lot more man behind Brock's punches than behind most you see in MMA.

The 9000 hammerfists that followed probably didn't feel too good though.

That punch he threw was basically the same one that sent Herring hard onto his ass, and the same one, although technically bad since it was all arm, that sent Mir onto his ass too. He has a ton of power, plus getting hit on the ear is a bit of a sweet spot.
