So i was doing sandy last night and we get to the manor where the 5 nin mobs are. I took notice to the damage people took and what HP% mobs were at if/when they did mijin and by far without a doubt it is HP based on the mob. 1 mijin'd at 2% and i personally took like 40 damage but another Mijun'd at 30% and i took a lot more than 40 damage. No change in buffs either.

On a side note i didn't think this thread would hit 2 pages lol.

By posting that you are asking for a snarky reply......well to someone who it ill tempered. I also happen to know draylo pretty well afterall we are in the same dyna shell.

This thread has basically stayed on topic and in fact there has been some useful information coming out of it for those that don't actually know. If i were a new player and reading some of this stuff i would now know the full extent as to what Mijin does.

Another note on Mijin: In english its loose translation is fragment bomb hence why you see the red explosion animation. You can really think of it as your blood and guts splattering onto your opposition. A little graphic description but hey it works.

As far as I know, Barspells will only overwrite if they were cast with the same or higher Enhancing Magic Skill. As such, a RDM's Barspell will overwrite a WHM's unless the WHM stacks a shit load of Enhancing Gear and the RDM doesn't. I could be wrong, but I know this is the case for most RDM Enhancing spells. Also, did you know that you can overwrite a Stoneskin without canceling if you cast with higher Enhancing skill? Could be useful for RDM soloing if you cast first with Errant Legs and when you need to cast again, do so with AF legs (iirc, they give the same potency, though that may only be the case with Mahatma).

Barra-spells(the aoe ones, notice the distinction) will always overwrite each other regardless of enhancing skill.. plain barspells will overwrite each other or barra-spells, but barra-spells cannot overwrite plain barspells. It doesn't make much sense, but /shrug.

This is what you should do... persuading the melee that this is a good idea sometimes is hard work.

I hate when a helpful BRD overwrites my 127 barspell just before some nasty elemental spell/attack...
