I know I've said I posted my last word but allow me to say one more thing.
I appreciate everyone's response but if we can leave the LS bashing out, would be great.
I never meant to bash another ls so if I did so indirectly while defending myself against false accusation, I apologize. Thanks to everyone who knew me and took the time to post.

I quit the game a few months back, but one of my friends linked me to this thread out of the blue, and I feel like I'm obligated to respond since Zimo's kinda got his back to the wall here and nobody of any credibility is speaking up for him.

Remora people know who I am; from Exo, to Voltage, to ATG, to Apathy, whether you like or dislike me, whether we've have our share of drama between us at one point or whatever, whether you've hated me or my LS or not, all that petty bickering and rivalries aside; I don't think anyone can argue that I'd be one of the people who can honestly say I knew Zimo very well, and that's what these BG checks are for right? For those of you who don't know me I lead the HNMLS Zimo was in for about a year and half prior to the creation of LoveBanana (Zimo's last LS before migrating off to Alexander), so I know him pretty well even though I haven't spoken to him in forever.

Zimo was one of the most genuinely loyal people to his LS, he joined SP soon after it was first created and stuck with it until it went down in a ball of flames a year and half later, haha, (by absolutely no fault of his own, I'll take full credit for that). His attendance was very high, even while holding down a full-time job. He always came to events that he didn't have to, even when his points were well ahead of others, and he was rewarded accordingly.

He was the kinda guy that long after getting his own e.body & ridill would still be up at 4am camping Fafnir because he knew we needed the extra people in those hours, these are the kind of people that make linkshells successful. The guy passed the opportunity to lot the one and only D.Ring my LS ever saw in the treasure pool, because he knew the other PLD had been just as commited to the LS, who had yet to be rewarded for his efforts, and at the time Zimo had just recently hit 75 PLD. To me that is the ultimate demonstration of what it means to not be a loot-whore.

The LS respected him highly and he did not hold a pearlsack in SP until the last few months, he didn't need to. He was good at giving instruction without belittling people, often carrying himself in a light-hearted, playful manner. He's simply not the kind of person that finds it in anyway productive to come on to a forum like this and talk crap about who wiped to what. As an LS member, he didn't let himself get caught up in all the drama, and he never let his status, items, or position in the LS change the way he treated others, unlike many people do when they're finally able to obtain a position of power. That's Zimo's character from the perspective of someone who knew him pretty well, I really don't have anything negative to say about him in this regard.

Skill-wise, Zimo can roll with the best of 'em. Every linkshell has their A-team, B-Team, C-Teams.. you know what I'm talking about, the people you're scared to let solo tank important shit, that BLM that doesn't know how to stun anything, the rdm who can't hold KV for the life of him, etc... Zimo was A-Team all the way, I could count on him to take a few people, split up, and go low-man stuff. I could count on him to come to anything on any of his jobs because I knew the guy takes the time to actually understand and get the most out of every job he plays. He knows how to listen, he knows how to instruct, and he has good instincts.

The only person I see here that can really talk is Bradley because the two were in the same LS for quite awhile, most of the others here have had very little interraction with Zimo outside of typical LS rivalries. My advice for NiN is for your guys to get to know him for yourself, develop your own opinion, and take it from there.

Anyways, shoutouts to everyone still holdin' it down on Remora; Foli, Roxan, Deception, Psycho, Mel too, hope all you guys can eventually find a way to enjoy the game without always being at eachother's throats, it really ain't that serious, leave my boy Zimo alone =P

They were in my Einherjar, Dynamis, and I did Salvage with them for a while. Manf, Chaani, Psyco, Zimo. All fantastic players. Best of luck to you guys.

To Exodus members:
Never use "Always" or "Never" in a sentence. There's no 100% guarantee that your linkshell is perfect. It's like saying, "I never cheated in school" or "I never lied to my elders."

I'd be amazed if a linkshell that Spike Flails Tiamat, wipes to Cerberus after monopolizing it for 2+ years, Call for Help Khimaira would want to remember those stupid mistakes and after it happened, linkshell officers would say: "This never happened. Do not talk about this ever." Over time, people forget. "We never wiped to Khimaira at 3%" happened and people forgot. Or it happened, and linkshell officers doesn't want to admit that it actually happened because they think they are the best that does not make mistakes.

People who witnessed it probably was too busy trying to claim over your dead bodies was enjoying the downfall of Exodus' pride to remember to take pictures, or something. Besides, why would any decent linkshell want to take pictures of stupid mistakes? Mistakes happen. Oh wait. Maybe those who post pictures have the morals of Paparazzi.

At any rate, muzzle (ex)member Robian. If you don't want to air Exodus' secrets, tell Robian to stop posting. If you can't control him, at least tell the world that you don't support him, denounce him and that he has no right to speak on the behalf of Exodus. Robian hasn't been playing for a long time now due to his account being hacked and dropped his Aegis (no surprise there), and yet he posts on the behalf of Exodus, relying on rumors, hurling insults and making derogatory comments about rival LS's members or ex-members in this case - even though he never worked with Zimo before. Since Exodus officers/members aren't disagreeing with Robian's inflammatory comments and supporting Robian's comments, it's no wonder people hate and attack Exodus. If they're like this on the forums, they're probably even worse in game. Keep on BSing, trash talking and one day that unrespectful/unfair play treatment will bite you in the ass.

To sum it up:
Zimo's a good player. He knows how to lead (Salvage and ground HNMs). He knows how to low man ground HNMs. Tons of merits. A really good DD. Can keep hate on PLD. Like Skid said - one of those A+ players who knows what he's doing. Leadership qualities. As in doesn't talk down to other people, or berate other people. Provided constructive feedback to help other people do better. Although, he may not have made the wisest decision to take a break and relax on another server while running an HNM linkshell. In any case, give him a try and I'm sure he'd be a valuable addition to your linkshell.

Let this be an object lesson as to why posting in your own BC is discouraged. There are much better ways to defend yourself from misinformation, including PMing the OP or responding on the application of the LS. Doing so here simply invites further attack, and you end up looking like a defensive jackass.

I don't really see this as something to be discouraged seeing as Zimo has done a very good job of defending himself from someone who's attacking him with obviously false information. Nobody else has made a mention of him getting a Shadow Ring, or Stealing a Linkshell bank at all outside of one person who was denied into his Linkshell in the 1st place.

I see this more as some angry kid who can't handle rejection then someone who's got anything to contribute. He's right about the rules tho as well, This kid is walking all over them and ignoring it as a mod and then posting what you said above makes it seem like you don't care. >_>

Of course I don't care -- insofar as I have no emotional attachment to either 'side' of what is being presented.

Keep in mind that I thoroughly pruned a large amount points and responses from the person in question and others as they were a) off-topic/trolling and b) contained language that violated the new stipulations, so you're right; based on what you see left in the thread, my post does seem out of left field. It is, however, appropriate regarding what needed to be removed.
