What do I make 400-450 for JC? Just cut blues?
How was LW from 400-450? My rogue is capped skinning but only 72, was going to work on LW after 77 or even 80, but I remember on my last rogue that the grind from 300-375 SUCKED and cost alot of money, and took alot of time... and right now my current rogue is only like 150 or 200lw so it's going to be a double bitch.
have an alchemist make meta gems.. cut those to like 450 ish. Don't forget to do JC daily quest!
You can ride to there.. possibly die alot on your way over to the valkyrie camp.. Lv 79-81ish? mobs.
Crystalsong Forest - Zone - World of Warcraft
See the 2 roads... one has the word "Storm Peaks" the road to the left, leads to icecrown. You cna ride to Yhir in the middle
Icecrown - Zone - World of Warcraft
Theres a "horde camp" thing somewhere to the right of the wording on he map.
Seems insanely easy if you got a skinner.
I haven't bothered getting it much past 430 because I've been using the "eternals" required for the crafts to make other stuff with my other professions. That and been focusing on making tens of thousands of ammo.
So... brute forcing enchanting from 410 to 450... practical, or extremely unnecessary goldsink?
Gold sink it seems, unless you have tailoring to DE stuff for dusts. I'm actually paired up with two enchanters atm trying to get all of the infinite dust we need to finish leveling our professios for server firsts. The two enchanters are going to enchant each other's gear for the last skill point, I need to make like 50 bags >< Shit sux.
If you have an JC alt , its very easy to make dream shards (dozens)
All it takes is time.. no cost
Jade Dagger Pendant - Item - World of Warcraft
100% shards basically (some rumour it may have a insanely low chance for abyss crystal but doubt it I've de'ed atleast 70 of these on live, and probably about same on beta), 4 hours of mining and I got enough to make probably about 50 of these things
Shadowmight Ring - Item - World of Warcraft
cheap mats... you get shitload of these from mining... 4 hours of mining you could make potentially 25-40ish of these things
Lots of dust, greater cosmic essences, and a low chance at shards.
interesting 'wow forum item post" mod... I posted a url it automatically id'ed the item and stuff O_o
Don't expect those kinda items on AH, their absolute crap for anything but de'ing
having BS, eng and JC... soorta sucks all at once... ;/ need to make gun ammo...need to lvl BS... JC needs to grind ore for gems... ;/
What gem designs do you think are best to pick up first?
I was thinking hit rating first (Rigid Autumn's Glow). Strength next or an orange gem? What gems are going to be popular right away?
The epic rings and neck pieces don't look like they're worth it now, they take too many Dragon's Eyes. I'm not too keen on blowing my jewelcrafter tokens on BoP gems now either.
First thing I bought was the +27 agi design, and one dragoneye. Now I'm just saving up for regular designs. Probably getting +16 agi tomorrow, don't know after that.
I'd get recipes ... either for your "raiding character" would best benefit from first.. or ones that will probably sell for alot first. Like... +spell power, +str + stam type gems
So I'm maining a rogue in my new casual guild, sick of doing the 7day a week thing in endgame content, and not sure on my 2nd prof.
My gathering is skinning, and yeah, leatherworking seems nice, but it's a bitch to really level any craft now since new xpac, no alts putting shit on ah, and really a craft like LW farming each and every fucking leather is retarded. Also, we have in the guild someone who is skinning/lw and can make all that stuff, the only benefit to me would be the bracer AP+ which is debatable between things from other professions.
Do I take up Mining for a 2nd gatherer and the HP boost? Never bad to have more hp on a melee, let alone something I'll pvp on. Herb has the leaf bonus which is decent, the hot is soso... I've done LW/JC/BS/Alch/Tailor/Enchanting on characters before, as well as all 3 gatherers, so it's not like just try something I havent yet done... Think it's worth it even at all to level an actual profession when shit can be made for me, not too much BOP stuff thats really GETGETGET since I'm not as hardcore about raiding anymore? Maybe just the 2nd gatherer?
I'm just so lazy, but it's been bugging me, what do I do with that 2nd slot... LW is sitting at like 150, but the push to 375 is the biggest bitch ever. AH prices are like 20-50g per Medium, Rough, Thick, pretty much every leather stack. I have over 300 borean skins in my bank that I can just sell and powerlevel anything though, but it's probably going to cost 5k if it's LW.
Got the Realm First tailor, made my ebonweave gloves!
0/2 on discoveries while transmuting titanium...what a waste of fucking money...
Well, now im trying to decide on professions for my alt DK, either inscription/herb or mining/jc. Can't really decide, but im open to suggestions on other profession combos. Keeping in mind that my main is mining/tailoring.
If your main is Mining, no need to have another miner. If the DK glyphs are any good, go inscription/herb. JC is meh, unless no other friends/guildies have it.
Still dunno what to pair with my rogues Skinning. Nothing seems worth it.
Leatherworking?
The bracer enchants are nice.
It's pretty much the same self buff no matter which you go with. The question is other benefits, and future item/benefits/bop's.Physical DPS:
- Herbalism = 66.7AP (average, requires consumables)
- Skinning = 25 Crit rating
- Alchemy = 64 AP (Flask of Endless Rage)
- Enchanting = 64 AP
- Jewelcrafting = 42 AP or 21 AGI or 21 STR or 21 Crit Rating or 21 Haste Rating or 21 Hit Rating or 177 ArPen
--- Jewelcrafting = 62 AP or 31 AGI or 31 STR etc. (counts avoiding using a blue gem instead of a red for meta requirements)
- Blacksmithing = 80 AP or 40 AGI or 40 STR or 40 Crit Rating or 40 Haste Rating or 40 Hit Rating or 280 ArPen
- Leatherworking = 64 AP
- Inscription = 64 AP
The bracer enchant is no better then the ring enchants, or the inscription shoulders, alchemy flask bonus etc...
