Well, blue is the worst gem color and red is the best. For sales anyways.

Blue offers no damage stats and yellow offers much less than red. So, the blue/yellow hybrid is the worst, because it's bad for min/max and it's also bad for meeting meta requirements for the super majority of class-specs. Blue/red > blue/yellow for metas that require blue sockets.

True enough, I guess I was thinking people might use them for pvp gemming since they don't have to min/max as much but I guess that's not really the case since Arena is the pvp of choice and it's transformed into kill or be killed rather than a game of stamina (both figuratively and in the stat-stacking sense ).

Blue gems are still highly regarded for tanks though ya? They are for druids, at least >.>
