Very inclined to agree that I doubt the suggestion thread mentioned has anything to do with it, the timespan since the start of that thread is way too short (considering we're dealing with SE, and it's not AV or any kind of media blitz that's involved).
Coffers actually ARE still a pain, at least on Remora, I try to avoid hunting for them in the primetimes.
I don't really see HOW conquest points would be the exchange value for recharging rings in the past (or in toa for that matter), regarding the past it would require some pretty whacky tampering with the timeline if CP were an issue, and AU and "old world" don't seem to be all superhappy with each others either, except for the business sectors. Also, I would like to point out that
Granted, it's hard to say with SE and the varying quality of their translations, but this suggests that they intend to make it the equivalent cost in AN/IS that it is in CP (probably with some weighing of AN, seeing as how getting AN is ridicilously easy compared to CP/IS)Originally Posted by SE
Everything is good, can't complain about these changes.
(Even so, I can't help but think there are a number of issue that they found a quick fix for long ago but wait to implement them to pad version updates.)
Seriously. They should have had all this stuff taken care of back in 2003! You're five years too late, SE!
Great changes. I know there have been plenty of times I found myself wishing I could warp from Jeuno to Whitegate. And coffers...this weekend I spent 3 hours running around in the Tree trying to unload a key cluttering my inventory along with about 5 other hunters. And what did I get when I finally found it? Jadeite ftw! -.-
What do you think did?
I have a hard time believing this was "just as planned," as something this... obvious should have been included within the first couple patches of both the ToAU and WotG releases.
While I have a hard time believing the developers could be so dense as to exclude such an obvious feature in each region (ring recharge in Near East and [S] lands should've been a no-brainer at launch), the proof is there, and it seems that we would still be returning to our home nations to recharge our rings unless they heard our bitching about it.
No, they said:... which is not quite the same thing. I'm reading that as "if you pay 500 CP to buy/recharge your Chariot band, you'll pay 500 AN/IS in for the same in the respective area."Originally Posted by POL Feature
No problem with RMT ever really goes away. People just quieted down about it over time, though concern for it never disappeared.
Respawn timer reduction is nice, though I think separation of Artifact and Treasure chests might have been better.
Agreed. The fact that they are showing even a modicum of focus on older locations is a good sign that the rest will see attention, however.
I'm really happy about the coffer respawns more then anything..
saving bigger announcements for fanfest.
normal QQ update notes so early on.
The number of, "This should have been implemented years ago" comments are pretty obnoxious. Yes, they should have. We're all very much aware of this, but unless you're loaning your time machine to Square so they can go back and do so, all you're doing is whining.
They made mistakes, and they're fixing them. Enjoy the adjustments, and stop bitching about their lack of punctuality.
Juste to make it clear about the exp bands.
The french version say:
"par exemple, une charge valant 50 points de conquête coûtera 50 points de valeur impériale ou 50 devises alliées."
Recharging Chariot/Empress/Emperor will cost the same amount of AN/IS than its actual cost in conquest points.
It should be of no surprise they are attempting to make Jeuno more attractive now that there's a new event going to be based there in this upcoming update.
I don't think there will be Computer's/Game Console's in the year 2018!
To stay on topic, i don't think these news are bad at all, atleast they are fixing some things they should have fixed before, rather than just adding and adding new "sometimes broken" things to the game.
omg I came @ Jeuno.
FINALLY I CAN AFK WITH CHRISTMAS MUSIC FUCK YES.
