My stuff in storage is all stuff i never use. Limbus upgrade items, salvage 15-35 pieces, crafting gear, rse and jse stuff, etc... basically 80 pieces i never use but most are r/e and can't mule.

I go back and forth with my HP, I tend to like whiteg though. I can actually get to OP faster then home nation, Jeunos just as fast, I've got plenty of IS to waste, and I don't miss any drama shouts or FL nyzules ^^
Home nation is nice for [s] however, but even thats just a shout for retrace away (most expensive of all these warps/trips in question).

lol I do that, also low level gear and memoriable items. I just find it more useful to keep my HP in Port Sandy so I can bump spare crystals on the AH and pop into the WW guild for GP points every day. 8D

Also If I'm feeling lazy, ride the ship to Jeuno.

But rly when did this turn into a WELL I DO IT THIS WAY thread? ;/

I've got a bastok mule -full- of crystals and a dbox full of crystals sent to her, lol.
If my hometown was bastok id prolly be there more often for alchemy GP items, but being as its sandy that doesnt help =/
I could use bastok's lure of the wildcat, but not OPs.
Either way, jeunos no longer a viable HP for me.

Err whoops yeah Mayan yeah, sorry I was so angry at seeing this again that I kinda spaced on the name for a sec there. But you're still wrong- they don't run out of numbers.

The only thing significant about this date is that it would be a time of great celebration for the Mayan peoples over the fact their civilization managed to endure long enough to actually see this date. The myth arises from the fact that they commonly wrote their dates in an abbreviated format (only 5 places) which just happens to roll over on this date (Y2K12 problem). There exist a handful of artifacts where they did inscribe the full date, and a number of these indicate dates far into the future (one for October 21, 4772 for example) whose content clearly indicate that the Mayans believed their world would not have changed particularly much by then. There is no historical reference to the Mayan calendar myth prior to when it was used to sell a book; all modern references to the date trace back to this book. So again, I ask you to stop spreading this bullshit myth that was invented only to sell books.

I love being a Black Mage; I can just Retrace any time I want to get back to my home nation and happily use the free warp taru in Al Zahbi, with my home point in Whitegate.

The roll over is what I meant by "runs out of numbers". Their calender reaches 13.0.0.0.0 in the year 2012. This supposedly marks the end of the cycle. I don't understand why this stops at 13 when its a base-20 system, maybe that originates from this book you're ranting about.

Anyone interested, this site gives a good explanation of their numbers. Also check out the section on the
Piri Reis map, very interesting stuff.

The abbreviated date is what "rolls over"; the actual date does not. Nothing happened in 2000 and nothing will happen in 2012. It's the exact same thing.

    Less D-Day theories! Moar discussion.

I do hope they release a part 2 to this. I'd kill to have an alternitive methood to getting a Salvage Permit other than AP. 5000 IS sounds fair enough to me.

Anyway, I love the Jueno to Whitegate NPC update. Other than that I'm still begging to see a "campaign adjustments" news post saying they're adding the new rank and nation bodies.

I love that this update information has went from something "Yay" worthy (although maybe alittle underwhelming) to talking about the end of days.

Do you think there is a correlation between SE doing positive things and the end of everything that we know!?

    Yeah, me neither

5000? Jees do you enjoy S&M ? 1500 IS at most, and it obv needs to take up nyzul tokens. Dear god if it took up nyzul tokens I'd finally be able to save my assault tags for actual assaults instead of RVB4EVA

Nyzul Tokens would be nice to, but GG I flat out refuse to do Salvage now since getting ppl for AP is more work than the actual assault.

5k IS would be enough for 1 salvage for me. It would have to be alot less or it would suck. >_>

God forbid they just make Salvage use Assault tags. If this was the case, I would actually do it.

True, I guess 5K was overkill, but still. I just want more options since unless you can get a mini SP together or something getting AP is hell since most ppl only care about Nyzul ATM.

Does it take four months from just starting to 75? I'd love to see a BGer take up the challenge of starting fresh on another server and see just how long it would take as a resourceless newbie. No friends, no money, no powerleveling.

Be some good reading, if nothing else.

They would get to 75 faster than a real "new" player by virtue of knowing what to do already.

I have been thinking of doing this before actually >_> I think it took me over a year to get PLD to 75. Then again this was back when NIN was the perfered tank.
