Programs like Rocket Dock will let you do that.

I personally was really glad to get rid of my dock when I switched to Windows 7. I think they're great and valuable, but with the superbar and using pinned items with jumplists and something like Launchy, it seems redundant. Anytime something doesn't have to take up desktop space, I'm glad to get rid of it. lol

ha! I had that same frame saved from that episode, as well as these. Really should've removed the subs on some of these, but thought they were funny at the time. lol
