Once you learn more Spins you can spam them consecutively without having to wait for them to recharge right (well, you can do the basic spin, then the advanced, then the basic, etc)?

I didn't realize you could train more than one expertise at a time. I've been switching between one and another all game -.-
where r u all? maybe we can try not getting d/c'd from the act4 dungeon
Is the shit up and running better now?
Name is lilfoo. Made a mage and doing pretty well. been farming exp in the first dungeon solo. tons of fun.
So I decide to hunt out the 3rd city. Something holy city. No map = BAD
Was running around lost til I seen something in the distance. Ran towards it and was literally greeted by DOZENS of these things.

Pretty City though. It's the one that looked like Jeuno in the screenshot.

^---- Shinjuku Babel in the background of that Cathedral.
On a side note, Holy Freaking Expensive Sword !!!

The Holy City of Arcadia, besides looking cool, has really nothing new for armor. 1-2 pieces that I could see, but nothing worth running all the way here for.
Nice, I was gonna run there lastnight but the server went down just as I was about to go there. Was there any new Close Range weapons aside from that Holy Blade? I'm still Neutral so I can't wear it.I'll probably head there and check out the shops myself. The armour shop in Shinjuku Babel seems to randomly stock some 120k body piece for females, hopefully that town does the same and you just got there at a bad time. Sucks if there's not much more for armour.
What's that fusion gauge?
Talk to the DB with the Pixie right outside Home III and ask him about Fusion. He'll give you the stuff you need to use it. Basically as you fight stuff the bar charges up, then you can use different specials for Magnetite depending on what pets you have in your comp. Just for example, Garm's raises Ally Magic power for 1 Gauge and 10 Magnetite, Kikuru-Hime heals one allies HP for 1 Gauge and 20 Magnetite and Cerberus does aoe fire damage for 50 Magnetite and 1 Gauge.
Edit: Those "equips for pros" I saw aren't from the cash shop like I thought they might be. The help text is just incorrect for the ones that says [Level 20 and Below], I can wear them now I'm 20+.
Weapon salesman sure is scary.
Lol, I gave my Bicorn (black horse thing) to the Mount NPC to train to be mountable. When I get it back it looks like an ugly alien thing and is unmountable, aswell as losing the fire and ice nukes he had inherited.

I'd say that's quite the bug.
Better information on the Magic Rush here:

I believe the "Magic Rush" someone referred to earlier was what is called the "Devil Killing Fist" in this guide.

I can't find any information on the "Enhancement" chain expertise. It'd be nice if Eligor could elaborate on that one because it sounds interesting considering I'm leaning towards a buffer type with gunner capabilities (Rapid). Probably going to remake my character too, getting kind of annoyed with how picky this expertise system is, it seems like from the limited information available online, that Enhancement requires 18k skill points, and so you're pretty much screwed if you've gotten more than like 1k in anything besides the prereqs for Enhancement. Unless you're ok with waiting until like level 40, assuming you fix your mistake immediately as of reading this post, to get to a chain expertise.
I see someone has the misfortune to cross Shinagawa during a New Moon (those Angels of Rape only appears during new moon, they give incredible exp).
Chain experts don't eat up skill points when you raise them.
For example, on the Magic Rush (or devil killing fist, but that sounds awkward) description, you'll see :
Rush x 0,3
Destruction Magic x 0,3
Magic Control x 0,4
If you have Rush at classe 1, d. magic at class 5 and magic control at class 5 :
1000x0,3 + 5000x0,3 + 5000x0,4 = 3800
Magic rush will be at class 3-8.
Mages should get Rush at class 1, then grind up destruction magic and magic control until Magic Rush is at class 4 (that's when you get the last Rush). This requires d. magic at class 5 and magic control at class 5-5
Magic control is a passive skill that reduces mp cost and magic cast/recast time. You can raise it by using magic rushes (or skills from the Banishment chain expert).
When you raise destruction magic, you'll notice that, at some levels, you can only pick one skill out of two (or two out of free). Always get the Fire spells. I also recommend the single-target tier 2 Ice spell (Bufula).
You'll have enough points left to work on another magic chain expert, so either Enhancement or Banishment. The growth of banishment relies on curse magic, d. magic, magic control and blessing, so it overlaps a bit with magic rush (i.e less skills to grind).
About Enhancement :
Level is determined by healing magic (x0,3), support magic (x0,4) and Blessing (x0,3).
Skills are :
class 1 : Divine heal (media + regen)
class 2 : Pulse of assault (double damage for 30 sec) and Pulse of Solid (damage received cut by half for 30 sec)
class 2-5 : Pulse of Armor : prevents knockback and combo interruption
class 3 : Clock cut (reduce skill casting time by 50%)
class 3-5 : Divine Breath (mediarama + regen II)
class 4 : "clock off" (reduce skill cooldown by 50%)
class 5 : Divine Shield and Divine Barrier (reflect 2 physical/magical attacks).
The class 2 skills are fantastic and don't require that many skill points. Since they are AoE, you only need one or 2 Enhancer per party. The class 5 skills are also god-tier, but it's a huge investment in skill points. If you can't afford it, just stay at class 2, the other skills only have situational uses.
Dunno how it will be with Aeria, but on the jp servers, events frequently gave free Rete flasks/bottles (deletes 100/1000 experts points), so i never had much trouble with correcting my early days mistakes.
OK, I'm seriously considering playing this game but I want to use Guns, Curse Magic and Support Magic... is there any way I can do this without effectively shooting myself in the foot?
can you get the gigantic vagina demon in this game?
Servers are back up.
