I heard a rumour last night concerning Netflix - that Sony have pulled the license for their movies on the 360 at the last minute and they're no longer available on the console. I'm at work right now and can't access 'proper' game sites, so can't confirm myself.


I'm looking forward to seeing if the NXE install thing makes any difference at all to FFXI freezing during Campaign and Besieged. Unlikely, but I'm crossing my fingers.

FFXI is not compatible with the NXE. I think its up to MS to release a patch. Either that or SE has to send people new discs that work with it.

Downloaded NXE about an hour ago. Spent some time messing with Avatar and looking around the dashboard and it seems nice. Started up FFXI and disc is not spinning as I play ^^

Friend told me that FFXI wasn't working either. I put my WOTG disc in and it loaded up the POL menu fine, where I promptly uninstalled FFXI since I was down to my last GB on one of my hd's. Maybe it varies with your Xbox version/disc drive? I have one of the newer Halo models.

I'm eh. The avatar thing is gay but I'm liking the new interface. Eye candy aside, it seems a lot more functional than the old dashboard which is pretty huge considering how much I liked the old one.

I like the upgrade, things are much more accessable but it looks like they took shit from PS3 and the wii and smashed them together basicaly.

Does anyone know if you can switch the background that your friends see when they go to the friends tab? I'm scrolling through it and I see that some people have different things behind their avatars (some have guitars for example, others have weird spaceships, etc.) Is that just random?
