Hey, I use Byakko's on my Rng...when I'm capping buffer in campaign.
But yeah with Rng the way it is now the only reason to use haste gear is if you have a Kclub. It's kind of sad, but way to many LS's pimp their gimps these days.

I guess that depends on your server/what you consider to be expensive.
I still consider them to be expensive, not prohibitively expensive... but still expensive.

What would improve that resting set? It looks like Cobra Hat, Grandiose Chain and Hierarch belt. For head and hands the improvement's are rare/ex. We don't know if BLM is this guys first 75, but if it is he certainly would not have Oracle's Cap, Goliard Chapeau or Oracle's Gloves. Same with the feet slot. Baron's Slops and Qiqirn sash +1 are the only buyable upgrades that I can think of off of the top of my head. But no, lets be a complete jackass.

HQ staves aside on my server still hover above 300k, aside from ice. That's not easy for someone on their first job, especially BLM which is not a very efficient farmer.
