Not all that gimp by all means but it's the first time I see them on PLD and they got D.ring like 3-4 months ago, JP LS who claims a lot and used to wipe to everything on Alex.

It's just a bit sad, and yeah they deleveled to 74 too.

Subbing WAR means you're relying on your shield, but where the hell is his AF Feet? End game and putting VIT over MP+/MDB is getting old really fast; NQ Kamans aren't even that expensive. And I would hope that Hosp. Earring isn't full-time too, but knowing the JPs it probably is. What AA/AN Earring and Shield are those?

And I know there are a few examples where WAR sub trumps NIN sub (read: very few) but turtle isn't one of those. And for fuck's sake, getting a buffer isn't that hard since campaign came around, so he's ridiculously lazy too. (And any "don't got WotG" excuse can just shut up, it's been months. If you don't got the expansion by now, then that's rather pathetic.)

How is it sad again? Because it's not a Noble's? Because 10% cure potency helps you when you're idle and more MP/enm- does not?

It's sad if one uses it over a Noble's for everything, especially cures.

BUT there's absolutely nothing wrong with idling in AF2 body. In fact, it's better than idling in Noble's/Aristocrat's. Why? It's got more MP than Noble's/Aristocrat's Coat, same refresh effect, not to mention the enm- on it. There's more -enm on other body pieces, but I find it hard to give up refresh if I have the choice to or not.

I have no problem idling in my Cleric's Briault as opposed to my Aristocrat's Coat, for those reasons, and choosing to do so puts my idle enmity- at 50, which is the cap, which at the same time makes me a happy WHM.

Best body piece I can think of to idle on WHM would be Marduk's Jubbah and I probably wouldn't waste the 11M in Ingots since I don't play WHM or BRD that often.

I actually prefer relic body over Marduk's in PT situations because of the -enmity and higher lolDEF. I stopped giving a crap about a max MP idle build years ago.

But seriously, I knew someone was going to point this out. I was speaking in general, not just about him. WotG came out several months ago and I hear "I don't have WotG" all the time. It's annoying to no end. It's been out for 6+ months; fucking buy the expansion already if you haven't.

I don't understand why everyone is fussing over the Enmity on the Cleric's body piece. You are a WHM. The main thing you are going to do to cause hate is.... Cure. Which that means everytime you hit the cure button, you have to macro in the nobles/aristo. Yes, AF has more MP/Enm/etc. But what's the point if you are just going to be switching to your nobles/aristo every 15-30 seconds. Now I can understand if you are using Marduk because the overall fast cast on it helps with all of your casting, but there is nothing on the Cleric's that screams full time, imo, Regen piece only.

Honestly as a whm my body break down is this:
Curing: Noble's
Regen: AF2
Town Gear/idle/MDB: Dalmy
Rest/Stoneskin: Errant
Everything else: Goliard

and yes, I got bodies in almost everyone of my macroes. And if I didn't have a dalmy I'd go back to idling in AF2. And also if I didn't have goliard I'd do everything except cure in AF2 since hey, -enmity

The earring is Suppa and I think that's a Terror shield but I don't know, they promptly left day 6 Aspid to go camp day 1 Fafnir and when I saw him at the next camp he was on WHM fulltiming AF2 hands, Zenith legs, R.Pumps without an ear2 slot... lol

No one said anything about full time. Full timing anything on any job is fail. You made the comment strictly about idling. What do you do when idling? Stand there. If a mob comes and hits you while you're in idle gear, you lose more enmity from that hit if you are wearing relic body than if you were wearing Noble's. That's the argument.

Pretty much how I play WHM also. Mine is:

Curing: Aristocrat's Coat
Regen/idle: Cleric's Briault
Barspells: Blessed Briault +1
Resting/Stoneskin: Mahatma Houppelande
Enfeebling Magic: Healer's Briault (yes I know, I can't get the benedict silk for the +1 to save my life)
For everything else: Goliard Saio

I have never had a problem switching pieces of gear, because I'm used to it and it gets done quickly enough to never be a problem. I'm done posting about this, because it's not gonna get anywhere anyway.
