Old screenshot but a funny little story behind it. I checked this sam while in sky. I asked him about the ring and he said he was in a rush but that really doesn't explain the rest of his gear. So he asks me for the way out of sky so being the asshole I am I told him to go next to the bluewall. I will leave what happened next up to your imaginations.

Of course my luck the BRD falls asleep so the SAM I got to replace the gimp BLM ends up replacing the Sleeping BRD, now I am stuck with a gimp BLM and SAM...

At least my nukes on RDM are doing 171dmg consistently that's about the only DD we have :/

Seriously how do you get Peacock charm and then that crap lol, that's an Orc Piercer he's using everything else is what it looks like, and yes the BLM does have a total of Base -3INT but hey at least he's a taru!

Edit: after the PT the BLM refused to D2 anyone unless they paid him 500gil.. I told him he should do it for free because I let him leech XP, but w/e I was subbing BLM anyways.

I can't stand that. One very expensive item does not mean you can wear shit in the rest of the slots. He could sell the charm get kotes and boots and still have gil left over for other stuff.

could be amulet (which I doubt since OP was complaining about it) or otherwise gift from a friend perhaps, but yeah, basic things like a real weapon (not an orc piercer) and even some of the nq lvl 25 mnk/sam/nin stuff is alright if you cant afford/havent gotten r/e version drop on o kote/fumas

If they were just fighting crawlers thats fine really, sicne the poison is weak, but if your doing flies should have subbed whm obv.

The only thing a RDM/BLM can't deal with at Crawler's Nest is Poison Breath and Venom, both an amazing 1hp/tic. So, in that particular case it is not a big deal.

Sticky Thread would still be a problem since rdm won't have haste yet, but that would require a whm or sch main. Whm would give curaga for cursed sphere, which is always a pain at that camp.

Wish I had a pic, but I had a merit pt on birds with a drg (Zaan) using Grand Knight's Lance. He also fulltimed af feet / legs / hands, used nq amemet, life belt, venerer's ring, assailant's ring, mythril grip+1, ohat, SH, chiv chain. I forget what earrings, I think spike / coral. He complained when his wheeling thrusts missed, and had /em macros for jump.

The party didn't last long since the pt couldn't keep over chain 6 or 7 with the camp to ourselves.

Fuck, that Samurai could even get away with the Windy/Federation gear if he absolutely had to. But not even using GKT? It makes me look back when I was new and some of the shit I did and thought. Thank God I had people who pointed me in the right direction until I found my own way. Too bad it was after I leveled Warrior to 30 using a sword and shield. Fuckers.

Lol ya i agree. Im guessing they dont have sea, and the rest of the gear is not bad, at least they have the right idea. Could at least get a Turban in there and maybe a shield earring i guess.
