Novv is a serious bitch with his auto regen, if you don't have a heavy DD job he can take a long ass time to kill, i'v watched many thfs struggle on him, so her warping is a bit understandable, as pld with sword only has no heavy DD choices.

And what's with the strictness on the NQ amement, Obviously the HQ IS better but it isnt worth talking about somone over, 5 more attack and 1 more STR isn't omg uber damage over NQ.. there isnt much excuse for there other gear choices. espcially that SAM....But speaking amement wise..kind of nitpicking isnt it? maybe i'm just immune to the elitist trait...

Whoa whoa whoa. I know they probably dont have it, but Atonement raises the DoT of Sword/Board quite high overall, and you can melee in cheapass gear like that and still pull the nice numbers. Sure, the PLD is using a Dainslaif instead of a Joyeuse (in SSG no less) but don't blame a shitty player on a good weapon type for the job. >_>

It's certainly not the way to go on TW mobs, but on a drawn out NM fight like that, poping constant 700+ WSs should add up rather fast, and you don't even need WS gear, unless you want to macro in Enmity+ to make sure you stay capped on hate.


Edit: As fas as the NQ amement, the HQ is one of the cheapest ways to get a very solid acceptable endgame DD piece. That PLD could have bought the HQ version with the money they spent to be a blurple body PLD if they are using it for farming purposes. That's why people get upset.

This was back when atonment didnt exist yet, i have sense been back there to watch, but when i tried soloing it as rdm i had a shitty as time because best ws i had was spirits within...i killed him but it was fucking horrible. and yea, i was speaking mainly on terms of IF you cant afford it. no explination for other high cost gear, i really dont understand why PLDs use that purple gear, they all say AF is better (the good ones at least), is there a reason for them?

Pretty sure that the H2H item he has equipped (Indras maybe?) have Enchantment: You can has Asuran Fists WS access.

So couple that with the DA and we're talking, like, a fifteen minute WS animation.
