    Some people mentioned deep-fried turkey on page one. Alton Brown on Good Eats did an entire episode on deep-frying turkey, including his own custom made turkey frying derrick.

    Deep-fried turkey sounds absolutely awesome to me, but I don't think anyone does that around where I live in Western Canada. At least with Canadian thanksgiving in more sensible October one could easily cook outside just about anywhere in the country that's not a territory and not freeze. (Although here in Victoria we grow palm trees outside all year long so cold for us is like 9*C)

    Fried turkey is amazing. plus it takes a much shorter time to cook
