Saving a franchise in shabbles should not be taken lightly. As a rookie at the most important position, I think he deserves to get a media reach around every week. It's not like he hands off the ball 90% of the time. He's doing very well and better than a lot of veteran QBs this year.

He is though. To put things into perspective, the Altanta Falcons are 2nd in the league in rushing, and 15th in the league in passing.

That's understandable, but you cannot fault Forte for being their #1 back. Hell, he has numberst that are very comparable to Barber, and that's with Orton playing out of his mind. Felix numbers can look really good because he only carries the ball 7 or 8 times a game, not really a chance to let fatigue set in when you aren't an every down back.

Edit: refer to above for the ypc stat. 7 or 8 carries a game can skew that stat.

If you recall if Atlanta passed on Ryan the Panthers were going to give up a 1rd this next year (they did it for Otah anyway) and players that remained unnamed. He came into hostile territory considering all of you fan base think Vick is innocent and that its whitey that is trying to railroad him, hence the "Free Mike Vick" mentality. I dont even have to mention Bobby Petrinos bullshit ass.
