NFL Week 12, A preseason prediction review!

The sad thing is, I am a life long packers fan. But now my mind is being torn apart because I'm starting to think I was a Favre only fan. I find myself watching Jet's game over Packers games now despite how crazy I would've been this time last year if I missed a single second of a Packers game.

I'm just not a fan of Ted Thompson I guess. And of course I am a bit butthurt over the whole off season situation.

It's just a kind of fair-weather-fan-ism, we all do it to some extent.


I don't think I missed a second of a K-State game, at least on the radio, even as recently as Prince's first year when we went 7-6. I think I've watched 2 games this year.

Mostly it's just depressing watching your team lose games to teams you used to spend 3/4 of the game outside the stadium getting drunk and partying cuz there was no way in hell you were gonna lose.

TBH, that's why I'm glad I'm not a true fan to any specific team (completely anyway) in NBA, NFL, or CFB. Sure I'm an Auburn fan in CFB, but I'm not gonna like.. sulk/get pissed if they lose, haha. I've always argued that I'd rather see a great game, even if "my" team comes out on the losing side.

Anyway, I've always like Favre, even after his bitchyness this past offseason with the not wanting to play, but wanting to play.

I find the NBA rather boring until the playoffs. This year I'm actually following it more as I'm in a fantasy basketball league for the first time, so I pay attention to box scores more often too.

That and I live in Alabama. There's no professional teams here.. closest is Jacksonville/Atlanta for NFL, Atlanta for basketball, etc... so yeah. College Football pretty much rules here.

This Jets first quarter has been so great lol. I started laughing my ass off when Favre lined up as receiver. He can block pretty great. He started 8/8 100 yards and 1 td.

Culpepper is infinitely better than Orlavsky. So much for the Panthers "barely" winning. Lions will will a few games once Culpepper gets back into playing shape, he brings an entirely different dimension to that offense.
