wow this lady on fox post game needs to go away
i love going out for the games on sundays because i get to come home and read through pages of this junx. highlight of this week is Miz vindicating the panthers squeaking past the lions after the lions jumped out big early on the bucs. god damn hilarious
btw how are the vikes, bears, falcons, skins, and bucs ALLLL going to win today, fucking horse shit
one of those fag squads still should have lost. hasselbeck is god damn worthless and the panthers got banged like some bitches.
I feel the same way, I was pretty sure when the lions went up 17 they were gunna do some shit, but that got blown up, for a while there seattle had a chance to beat the skins and nope, really needed one of them to win those. Although if the panthers keep sucking dick they'll drop out of the race completly.
Actually, I think Drew Brees means more to his team than Manning. If their defense were even half as good as Indy's, (yes, i'm aware of their mediocrity this season) there wouldn't even be an argument.
God, I love how San Diego's secondary always comes to play against Manning and the Colts.
Just got home from work after having to listen to the Eagle game on the radio, sigh :/
I have no problem with them benching Mcnabb, but seriously, if he goes, can he take Andy Reid with him? Please? Reid has fucked up the team much worse since week 3 than Mcnabb has.
Dunno if people here read the Sports Guy, but this was hilarious from his mailbag this week:
Funniest e-mail of the week, from a Philly fan calling himself "Andy Reid": "So, I pulled into my local drive-thru. After analyzing the menu for 25 minutes I quickly placed my order. As I pulled to the first window I was shocked to see Donovan McNabb working the register. Unfortunately, I pulled a foot away from the window. I had no idea how to get my money in there. Do I hand it in or try and throw it? I decided it would be better to waste five minutes backing out and pulling back in. After I handed Donovan my money, he threw my change five feet over my car. After receiving my food, I double-checked to make sure I had the right order. I checked for three minutes and knew they messed it up. I pulled back to the window to complain. After giving the employee a stare of mild confusion, he informed me that I had received what I ordered. I pulled away stunned."
The Eagles are officially dead to me until they either fire Reid or take away his play calling privelages. Preferrably both. He is far and away the worst coach in the NFL right now, it isn't even close.
Enjoy your shitty team who will constantly strive for mediocrity when Reid and McNabb leave. Unless, of course, you somehow nab Cowher, although I can't imagine him going to such a place with such terrible fans after being with the best fan base in the NFL.
That's supposed to be funny?
You obviously dont watch Eagle games often. You can maybe defend McNabb, in fact I would prefer to see him stay because of how important the QB position is and I feel with a GOOD head coach he could probably play well, like he has at times this year.
But Reid is horrible. HORRIBLE. You have to watch their games from start to finish and listen to his fucking laughable press conferences after games. Good for him, he got the Eagles to the NFC championship 4 times and a Super Bowl. Sorry, those days are gone. The NFL is a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately league, ask Brian Billick. He needs to go.
Rofl at the e-mail. But is he seriously the worst coach in the NFL? No. Not by a long shot. Is he the worst coach in the NFL to Philly fans? Yeah. Probably. That's just how it works. I'd much rather have him than you know.. anyone from the Raiders, anyone from the Lions.. and so on.
Also, he got to those when Westbrook wasn't spraining his ear or some shit. The guy can't ever seem to stay healthy.. the same now with McNabb. It's not just his coaching. It's the guys there. The T.O. fiasco ruined that franchise, just like it ruined the 49ers franchise.
Philli fans never cease to amaze me.
The Andy Reid of 5 years ago is not Andy Reid today. There WAS a time he was an excellent Head Coach, but either he has lost his touch with the players or all that off the field shit has been on him for the last 2 years.
I've been an Eagle fan for a long time, we were god awful before Reid got here. We're not god awful now, no, but we are bad. If you dont actually watch the games and listen to Reid and just get your information from box scores, you're missing it.
Edit: I agree that Reid is not the WORST head coach in the league, there are a lot of other candidates for that. But he's not a top 5 coach anymore like he was during our annual playoff appearances, hes dropped way down.
