Soloing Sewer Syrup

Melees, if you want to solo this, fear not; it's possible. This is a situation where you can use your DNC sub to the fullest.

Once it pops, make sure to hit it with gravity (Desparate flourish) and sneak up because you'll have to drag it to the Ronfaure zoneline. It'll take a while to take it down with physical damage only, so if you stay with the repops and the ghosts you'll get in trouble fast. Once safe at the zoneline just whack at it with drain samba up and the damn slime will eventually die. I suggest you don't WS every chance you get, as fluid toss can really hurt you if you have no TP to waltz it back.

As soboro SAM/DNC, I'd say it took me about 25 mins to take it down.

I soloed it nin/dnc.

The bats don't aggro at 75, but there is a syrup that does.

I used elemental wheel to speed up the process. Can easily be eva tanked.

Soloed it as nin/war a while ago.
the first time i messed up because i didnt take the fight seriously and the npc was giving it alot of extra tp. Once i got back up and retried without the npc the tp it generated was far lower for some reason and i took it out without breaking a sweat.

I wouldnt bother camping this much, just once a day, kill 1-2 PH's and then leave if it doesnt pop, otherwise, you can be there for hours :3

Back in the day, I was camping for a friend, was taking 3+ hours vs RMT, the RMT ended up MPKing us over it...

I've solo'd this a few times as rdm/nin. Stacked fast cast (af1 head, af2 body) and as much haste gear as you can put on. As far as the pull, I just tossed up bind and gravity, and ran to the zone to west ron and killed it on the steps there.

First three times I did it, I went hornetneedle/beestinger with enfire. The last time I did it was hornetneedle/joytoy. Either way, its imperative to keep stoneskin, phalanx, and barwater up. If I recall correctly, the add damage off the enfire does 25 damage a hit, maybe more. Doesn't take very long to solo.

NIN has subtle blow, NPCs do not.

Also, if you want to play it real safe, go RDM/NIN with ceremonial daggers. I am pretty sure they'll hit for 0, maybe even a beesting, I think RDM can use that or something. But I don't even think the thing is hard in anyway.

Soloed @ 65ish NIN/RDM using ni wheel and HQ ele staves, not a tough fight in the least

RDM/BLM ES Gravity, Chainspell drain = Dead in seconds.

BLM/RDM is insanely easy and takes like 5m. RDM/NIN is pretty easy also.

Easy solo as nin/dnc. Like posted above, the bats don't aggro at 75. I didn't even bother to clear the haunts, bats, or the slime in the hall; partly because I had competition and mostly because I didn't really care.

Took about 25-30 mins to kill w/o using elemental wheel. I had another slime attacking me the entire time as well. It's just a super easy solo nin/dnc.

I did get the enjoyment of watching a war/nin get raped by fluid toss and die to surronding aggro when attempting to duo with a nin/dnc who out claimed me after I'd been trying to pop for 3+hours. nin/dnc would have died too if not for his npc.

I did this with 3 people but the pld with us was naked because he got hacked so he was pretty much there just for the ring. It was me and a lv 72blm I was /rdm and just unleashed hell on it. I was an elvaan blm so if your a taru or even a hume I'm pretty sure you can solo this without breaking a sweat.

I was also down there as whm/nin before that killing the nm leech for his ring so I changed to blm and didn't even have all my gear. If I knew I was gonna go kill it I probably would have brought a few wizard cookies and made a few yag drinks.
