    FFXI Windowed Mode(Windows Vista) problem.

    Hello;

    With official windower, for some reason FFXI looks like this.

    ...unplayable basically. Moving screen to the right fixes the problem but then again, I lose the right side of the screen.

    Anyone familiar with this problem? Game runs great on XP(Boot camp) but on Vista PC I can't get it run properly.

    Ah I get that too.

    Try to play on a smaller resolution. (640x480), or slightly smaller than what you have right now.

    Not just FFXI too, but on normal picture files viewed from the picture viewer.

    It seems if the resolution of the game exceeds a specific size it happens to me. On both windower types.

    *sigh* Sadly, lowering resolution seems to be the only solution for now.
    Thanks.

    Ah so it worked?

    I can't find the root cause but I found that if I lower it a tiny bit it's fine.
