Far South would probably involve an airship from Kazham, which is my guess for why they aren't doing that either.

Far South or Far north would be awsome for expansion. I know there is great potential for the Mithra and Gigas homelands respectively. We never got into the gigas history that much, ass far as leaders go like SE has done with the 3 main Beastman races. Seeing the mithra homeland city would be awsome, I would think.
That ship in norg is the one the pirates attack you on. Dunno why everyone wants to ride that boat so bad >_>
There's also that blocked off area in Kazham and to a lesser extent, the unused tunnel in southern West Altep.
There's tons of unused tunnels I'm curious about. There's one right outside of Jeuno in batallia downs I've always wondered about.
What bugs me about that one is that it's there in the past too; they could have easily covered it with the wall.
Maybe it will be used in an Add-On. I just wanna see some of those tunnels get a use >_>
My memory is a bit hazy, but the blocked off path is next to the Auction House right? I firmly believe that it is just suppose to represent the storage area for the Auction House goods.
And the ship on Norg really means nothing. It is suppose to be an impressive background animation to show that the place is a lively pirate port. I guess it's too impressive.
Two things make me think otherwise: The fact that there's a similar entrance in Yuhtunga and the kiosk on the opposite side of the AH area. You could say that the Yuhtunga entrance is a supply entrance or something, but no other area has that and the main entrance is just as good (if not better, since it's not on an incline.) The kiosk is also where the DBox is, and in most AHs, at least one of the DBox NPCs is located in front of a door which usually seems to be the storage facility.
It would be totally natural imo for the far east to be accessed through Norg, the far west through a new route in Selbina, and the far south through Kazham. I know Norg and Kazham are in Zilart areas but honestly there is no one who doesn't have RoTZ installed.
To not have ROZ installed, you'd have to be a JP player who didn't buy it. I doubt someone like that still plays.
RotZ is still optional for NA players.
...Are you trying to say a person would not install it intentionally?
It doesn't really matter if it is intentional or not. They haven't added areas to expansions and RotZ is still an expansion by all counts. How it came packaged with the original NA release really doesn't make it any special compared to any other expansion. Newer expansions are even closer to the original game as they all now come in one CD and have one code if I am right.
