Playstation Home Beta Impressions

I had my wife make me, probably as close as you could get with the tools possible. I like it so far, should be cool when they expand it. I find myself playing a lot of billiards. I'd like to know how to unlock extra shit though. I want to pimp my beachside crib.

Right now its pretty weak, but its a beta so its suppose to be.

But it has potential, once they put stuff in the stores, more rooms and whatever it will be pretty good I think.

Wish they'd just make it a public beta at this point for stress-test purposes so I can see how bad the whole thing is.

Are they still aiming for a pre-2009 release? I've been wanting to get my hands on this for awhile.

Wow wtf, I was sent an e-mail to the beta 5 days ago and didn't even notice it, downloading now.

[EDIT] And now I'm already bored of it. It's a cool concept, but unless they add a buttload of more areas and things to do, it's not going to hold much interest for the general public unless it was somehow integrated into the XMB.
(because it's too much of a hassle to have to *want* to go into Home, then chat to friends/game from there)

So far it just looks like a place Sony made for you to blow real cash on for virtual property in your little home, as well as knocking up advertisements for games all over.

No idea why they didn't just bother streaming it instead. Would make more sense if everyone was watching at the same point of the video. That and some idiot with an afro wouldn't stop standing infront of my seat even after yelling at him over my mic to gtfo.

I received my Beta Invite in an email on Friday but I haven't bothered with downloading it yet. Overall, would anyone mind throwing out some things to try after I download it? I don't want to just DL it then wander around like a retard for hours.
